Yeah well, I don’t know about that. I do agree with you about it being home machine though maybe they should use a machine with a steam one that is not complete terrible like anything but Delonghi take bezzera for example
Great work, both of you ! Just upgraded from Barista Express to Dual Boiler, heaps to learn ! It's totally different (good) Love my coffee, probably having too many. Regards from Brisbane !
I definitely need work on the frothing part... either to much foam or not enough.. I'm sure it doesn't help that I use almond milk as well other then 2 percent milk..
She looks like an experienced milk frother. Normally beginner don't even know what to expect or how to froth the milk ie position, sounds, temperature etc .....
Kind of an odd competition for a consumer grade coffee machine? I mean, surely the winners will be making great art. Likely take their coffee pretty seriously. Likely been doing it for a few years. And likely having a machine that is already significantly better than the one they are competing to win. Seems....odd
Everyone starts somewhere, whilst those that may have a better machine, most likely wouldn't enter, it does allow those who don't yet own a machine a chance to win one, just to make simply delicious coffee at home. It may be odd but our audience does cover quite a large demographic :)
Appreciate Freya willing to fail repeatedly on camera and then also willing to continue improving on the lesson
This is one of the better videos I've seen. Really appreciate they use an at-home espresso machine.
Best actually for a batista who makes worse arts like me😂😂😂

One of the most genuine teaching videos I have come across. I want to be a barista but when I came across this video I was more stronger.
I feel like I learned a lot by watching this. There were definitely some subtleties in latte art technique that I didn't know before.
very educational lesson, thank you !
AMAZING!!! this is best of latte art ed video i've ever watched by far - brake down to 3 steps with even more details. Sub'd & Liked.

"beginner"
well for clarification, she works in marketing and drinks only black coffee. So I can confirm she's not experienced as you may assume.
@@SevenMilesCoffeeRoasters ouh oke. Thanks for the clarification.
Not sure where you're from, but spout in milk , slightly angled and 'hot milk=bad' is quite well known
@@colouredIncognito where are you from?
Thank you! That's the kind of video I love the most :-)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Must admit i liked the abstract better than that simple heart. Heart is like a kid drew something. Makes you wonder
You're a good teacher man 😉
Thanks! 😃
you should use first 5~10 minutes to demo and explain
I feel that hands on and corrections only where needed is the best way to teach! (Ok maybe not for a trainee surgeon 🤪!)
seems hard to understand what very close is
After is much more pixelated.
👍
0:17 if you failed we wouldn't be seeing the video 😜
