Thank you, appreciate your wonderful tour. Have a question I notice the attire signs for the restaurants. I wonder if there any restaurants that need formal attire or book in?
No we don’t see this enforced at all. Men wear nice shorts and flip flops/ sandals and they’re fine 👍🏻 I think they just don’t want you wearing beach wear.

Looking for a good riu hotel,would you recommend palace las Americas due to the fact that you can use riu cancun aswell?
Yes! It’s a great resort!

How was it?
wow, it looks pretty nice, I am looking for a place in the hotel zone for a Dental vacation stay, looking at all inclusive as I don't want to hunt for food, not sure what I will be able to eat. probably won't be drinking much either. Just going to chill on the beach or near it to recover. I have looked into this place. I own a Travel agency and their agency rates were actually the same or more than what I can get retail on my own as a regular customer :-( I will be filming the experience so what every hotel I can get will get free promos lol.
I’m flying there in 1 week! Wanted to do Palace but only going for 4days for a solo getaway so decided on this one.

How was it?
I truly enjoyed the trip… The weather was perfect and the pool was jumping as well. They have a sport bars that is fun and a club.
Is there music played everyday etc like I’m looking go august is it worth a group of lads going

Just came back from a stag do/bachelor party, a group of 20 of us, we brought the vibes they loved us. And we shutdown every club

Great informative video. It says in the brochure that it has a nightclub ( pascha ) did you find this ?? Was it open ??
We weren’t there in the evening, but yes they have one and yes it’s open 👍🏻

We prefer the RIU Palaces - they tend to have better restaurants and rooms

How is Buffett is it breakfast lunch dinner only asking I went to secrets the vibe and hated it no dinner buffet to fancy hated it
They have the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and it’s casual 👍🏻

I have watched both of your videos, riu cancun and riu caribe, which one would.you recommend? I am a solo female traveller.
It depends 🤷🏼♀️ the Caribe is a newer and nicer, but farther from the main Cancun strip - and the Cancun is right in the action, but is older and dated 🤷🏼♀️

Riu Cancún or Riu Yucatán? Watched both of your videos but not sure which one to go to 😭
Riu Cancun is more of a party vibe and is right in the main Cancun hotel zone, so close to all the action. Yukatan is further south and more chill.
Can you book excursions once you arrive to the resort?

Hello Andrew superb videos. my adult son and I going to Cancun in late Oct - Nov for 8days Need to decide between BP Akumal Riu palace and Barcelo palace Rivera maya Priory is food quality and choice and pools service is good
Would appreciate your help also consider the price difference thanks
If food choice is a priority and pool service is a priority, we recommend the RIU Palace Riviera Maya. 👍🏻 the prices fluctuate so it’s hard to compare. 🤷🏼♀️

Are you referring to RIU Palace Costa Mujeres? Sorry, we’ve never been to that one 🤷🏼♀️

Riu Cancun is a bit dated and more of a party resort. RP Riviera Maya is newer looking and more relaxed/low key.

What was the schedule of the gym?
It usually opens around 7 or 8 am and closes around 8pm.. but it can change 🤷🏼♀️

Hi, can ypu share how do you commute from airport to riu cancun for a pack of 10(5 adults & 5 children)? I heard some negotiate with u but then bring you to a timeshare seminar first before taking u to your hotel, isn't that a scam?
We’ve used Canada Transfers to shuttle us from the airport (Google them and you can book it online) or if you book a vacation “package” through Expedia or TripCentral, you will have transportation included in the package price (a large coach bus will transport you to your hotel)

There might be vendors on the beach with jet skis 🤔🤷🏼♀️

is this resort a good option for kids ?
I would say it’s more geared to young adults - it has a party atmosphere
Would you say to stay here or royalton chic?
We’ve never been to the Royalton - but we passed by and it looked really cool and modern 👀
How was the air conditioning?
As far as the main areas go, it was great 👌🏻 the rooms should all be good as well, but can’t speak for them all 🤷🏼♀️
how's the night life and theme parties.
We haven’t been to a RIU Party at this hotel, but at the RIU Santa Fe and it was super fun!
You know if all rooms are see view ?
Yes I believe they are 👍🏻 the higher floors will have better views of course 👌🏻
Can i ask my daughter wil be 15 is it geared towards teenagers to .
It’s technically a family resort, but it definitely attracts a party crowd. I wouldn’t say there’s anything geared at teenagers specifically, but I’m sure she’d have a good time 🤷🏼♀️

We like the RIU Palace Las Americas bc it’s a bit quieter 🤷🏼♀️
Riu cancun or riu caribe? Family with teenagers. Not really into parties..
They are both kind of party resorts. If I had to choose I would say Caribe, bc it’s been newly refurbished and has nicer rooms and amenities. I would also suggest looking at Riu Palace Peninsula - a great family resort and great beach 👍🏻

@@WherewegoingNext : I’m sorry, I thought you were guests of the hotel. I'm surprised they let you move around in their hotel. Resorts at the hotel zone are so strict. I'm in Cancun now, when I went to one resort near Coco Bongo, they almost attacked me like I was going to take advantage of the resort for free.
No, we were staying at the RIU Palace Peninsula- so that gave us access to the other RIUs in the area. We asked for access to the rooms, but they didn’t seem to want the marketing 👀🤷🏼♀️
@@WherewegoingNext did RIU Peninsula provide free transportation from RIU Peninsula/RIU Caribe to RIU Cancun to use their facilities? Any idea if they do it later in to the night to attend the shows/Pacha disco at RIU Cancun?
