You can just hold R2 to run off a building btw. Once you’re in the air backwards, just press L3 + Square and hold the left stick forward.

How to hold a dive since other comments cant explain. : If you run off a building and dont jump, Just press L3 + X/Square and dont hold L3: This from google btw,. I tested it and it works
NO NEED TO JUMP OFF THE building...just running with r2 will trigger the backwards animation 99 percent of the time
