Episode 5 - Glen Dye Charr Bothy Walk

Join me as I venture through a meandering path through the Glen Dye estate. Passing old settlements and even a possible Fogou.
A Fogou is an underground dry stone structure, it’s unclear what this was used for given its location on this estate. Maybe it was used for storing food or tools.
After passing the old settlements I’m graced with great views of the summit of Clachnaben before reaching the Charr bothy.
The bothy is in great condition open to all whom seek shelter for up to a couple nights whilst on long walks. This is a relatively easy walk with picturesque views of the Scottish countryside.
