I filmed this video on a Sony A6400 with a Røde microphone and used Premiere Pro and Garageband for editing.

Many many many! The summer of 2024 is fully planned with hikes here and there. I never share the exact plans beforehand, but I'll be filming them al, so you'll see everything here on the channel!

I found floor a few days ago, and within these few days i have fallen in love with the channel, and become addicted to Floor’s up beat and so unapologetically joyful personality. Floor has quickly become joint 1st of my favourite hiking creators tied with Liam Brown.
Same!! I found them while preparing for the Kungsleden, which I've just finished hiking (a section of it), and after a few days of no phone coverage I find she's uploaded this video ❤ I go there every summer, and this will likely be my next hike!

Solo hiking 110 km through Spain’s steepest peaks sounds incredible!🏞 The Anillo de Picos in the Picos de Europa must have been a breathtaking adventure. Je YT toevallig ondekt via Hiking Advisor. Ik zit in de helft van je filmpje (het onweer gedeelte). En ik moet zeggen tot hiertoe alles super tof in elkaar gestoken. En het het onweer is een goede realitycheck over de gevaren die mensen soms uit het oog verliezen. Ondertussen ook je site gevonden. Ik ga zeker en vast eens rondsnuffelen in je webshop.

Hi Floor. Diepe buiging voor je. Veel respect. Solo Hike zelf ook meerdaagse routes in Europa maar dan zonder te vloggen. Stel me zo voor dat steeds maar weer je camera terug ophalen en video's inspreken een groot deel van je dag kost. Dat maakt jouw etappes nog zwaarder. Maar je straalt plezier en daadkracht uit. Vind het fijn om je video's te kijken. Veel succes bij je volgende hikes en misschien komen we elkaar nog wel eens tegen "en route".

Alright, that trail goes on the list for sure, that looks awesome. Eager to see where else you go Floor, so many nice hikes left in Europe alone. I assume you gotta pay for camping at the refugios? What are wild camping laws like in spain?
You don't need to pay if you camp near a refugio, only if you stay in one or want to eat there (Call before. Supplies are limited). Wild camping laws in The Picos are not the same as any other place. It is a national park, but since it is a harsh environment you can plant a tent. Rules are IIRC: Put your tent only one hour before sunset and pack it back one hour after sunrise, but you need to be over 1600m of altitute to be able to do it.
Floor, what are your favourite hikes from those you already finished. I would like to start from there and make a plan for my "sabatica".

Hey Pascal! I couldn’t find an English guide on this trail, so I quickly threw some stuff together in a booklet that I could take with me. I’m using it to make notes so I can make a good hiking guide for this one! 🗺️

Could I ask 2 questions?
1. Where did you sleep the second (Veggaredona) and third (Vegabora) night? Were you allowed to pitch your tent near the Refugios as they are below 1600m? I guess higher up given the storm 😅?
2. What kind of shoes did you use? Would you recommend a boot, trailrunners, or something in between?
Hey Dries! Some refugios have no problem with tents pitched near them (Andara, Vega De Ario, Uriellu, Jermoso) but it’s forbidden at some refugios (Vegarredonda, Vegabaño). There, I camped a bit further up the mountain, indeed. You have to scout a bit better as the landscapes are not as grassy as let’s say Scotland, but it’s definitely possible :).
And I wore a sturdy Salomon trailrunner! So I guess something in between (which I recommend, there are a lot of rocks so you want to have a firm sole). Enjoy the hike 🙆🏼♀️✨
