I really enjoyed this share; watching and learning more about the Aerovee VW conversion. The super tin baffles and oil drains are very nice. I'm with you on the pump cover but the Aerovee one is nice too. The piston skirts appeared to be Teflon coated - very nice. This is a great little project: building an Aerovee. Can't help but want to disassemble the valves - no worries. ✌️♥️👍🏻👍👍🏽
Thanks Gavin for the most excellent videos. I am also building an Aerovee Turbo and your info helps a great deal. Follow your excitement and bottoms up!
Has Sonex figured out the oil issue upon shutdown with the turbo? Last I was aware they merely specified a list of parts that the builder had to source into something.
Uhh, how do you expect to rock n roll on the build if you cut your hair!!! Uhh the flutes could be for heat dissapation??? No blackening treatment? Yeah Mark was overthinking the process maybe???
Gavin, I really enjoy your videos. I’m building a Fisher Dakota Hawk, but using the 100 hp Aerovee and excited to see you finish yours.
