Viking Aircraft Engines Viking Aircraft Engines 130 hp for experimental aircraft such as the RV12 Sonex CH-750 Zenith Rans raven gyro copters KitFox SeaRey
I really like the whole setup, having so much faith in Honda engineering as the basis of the power plant .Also this project is extremely well explained thru out the video .
Although I have never piloted an aircraft, the video was very informative and to the point. I have begun interest in the AutorCopter and what you explained for the winged aircraft can be very useful as well for an AutoGyro. The last cautionary information was putting switch covers on those switches great job. Thank you.
Great and informative video. You don't just go over the basics you also explain why. I understand now very well your dry sump system and how everything works and what maintenance will be needed. Your firewall forward package leaves nothing to guess work.
Very nice video and inspiring. I am working on finding and converting diesel based engine, with enhanced FADEC. It is good to see someone else is doing similar things.
Looks nice. Have you ever considered making the wires for the ground power bus and the positive power bus different colors? Probably make it easier to wire it right. It’s gonna be a long time before I get to building a plane but I’m thinking it will probably have a Viking
Which direction does this engine turn? I'm interested in putting one of these in a longitudinal rear wheel drive car, such as an MG Midget or a Mk1 Cortina.
We specialize in aircraft engines, which means safety measures are MUCH higher, so no reason it shouldn't work great - that being said we have a few finishing up installation for airboats in Canada :)

How will they work in an airboat

Are Viking engines compatible with Garmin and other MFD/PFD displays?
No torque value given for engine mounts .... YIKES!!!!
AN Bolt torque tables are available everywhere...it is all standard depending on the size of the bolt
