Don’t worry or overthink about it too much. The answer to the thoughts is not in the thoughts. The distance between what is you and what is the mind(data which you have accumulated) is not of the physical nature but just is about the awareness of watching the thoughts as just thoughts. You can experiment this right now, you can experience this distance between you and your thoughts by using a simple phrase. Whenever you get a thought that you like or do not like, either ways, just say out loud , “I am noticing my thought..” and add whatever thought you had after that. Just become a spectator like you are in the stands watching the football game go on. And your thoughts are the players. Just spectate.

Once u started identified with something ur not its like a forein body entered into ur body u need to get it out or else the fever comes like the normal fever,here the chattering increases.When u are a child you dont really force urself onto becoming something which ur not,so there is no effort.Once u started putting the effort to become something, there is a force happening which is agaist ur free mind,then there is a problem.

How I disengage from the mind please help I am going crazy
@SyedIbrahim-fn6uw of many side sadhna of sadhguru, I remember some (i personally try them)
- No likes & dislikes doing what is convenient /needed
(when you go deep into this it gets littel hard & many times confused but it's ok)
- reminding i am not body nor mind time to time on day
- reminding this body is gonna die,
(sadhguru said it makes mind, uncompleted)
- another one, doing things like this is last thing I am gonna do in my life,
Doing in way that I have no regrets,
When going sleep you go like I am gonna die now
- & like upper comment said, dont engage in thoughts just watch them, they'll dissappear on its own
+ many more small sadhna (it all make difference) sadhna is such many complement with each other
