That’s so lovely, ive just waited 40 years to get my own woodland, ive just purchased 7 acres of Welsh woodlands for my retirement present to myself and I can’t wait to have the same nights as this, absolutely amazing
So relaxing to watch before bed, miss my camping days in the woods, too old and handicapped now to camp but watching you brings back wonderful memories. Thank you.
Same here Betty I'm to disabled to actually go camping anymore but I sure love Andy's enthusiasm, and the food he makes and watching him before bedtime just makes me sleep like a kid again, I truly love watching this channel Andy is Amazing
Some of the kit he gets makes me feel like I could still give it a go, my main problem is getting up. With a raised bed like his OneTigris I think I could do it.
the idea of just going out into the woods making a small little hut like this with moss on top of it and a cozy fern bed is the life that i wanna live for a month
Andy I can't help but smiling everytime I see a Kent Survival intro, your smile and happiness is so contagious ❤️ I love you mate. You carry a vibe & energy that is so purely genuine & kind. Me & my Mom love watching you & Simon. Keep up the good work brother 🙏 💪
I do love how chilled out your videos are. I also love how you have just built a shelter in the woods with sticks and moss and you are probably warmer than me in my terraced house and eating better than me 🤣
I particularly enjoy the way you eat so well when out and about. Also, a wonderfully peaceful & relaxing way to spend an overnight camping experience, a great alternative to living in a stressful world.
LOL "Everything stops for tea..." I know better than to show up to your videos without my own provisions! 👍😎🇨🇦🔥 Another awesome shelter, Andy. Feel better. ⚘
Sorry you aren't feeling well Andy, At least there was nothing wrong with your appetite, after all that work to prepare your dinner! That's a beautiful moss shelter!! After hours of work, it's no wonder you were exhausted! Thanks for sharing!
I swear I could smell that roasted chicken just as it was pulled from the spit. Funny how the mind can make a thing, a real and actual thing. I don't often comment, but I watch nearly every video and appreciate each and every one you post. God Bless you for all you do and thank you for sharing this with us viewers.
I love these bushcraft style videos Andy! What a great spot! A lot of work for one night especially with a temperature but I am glad you did it and shared it with us!
This video not only fascinated me but got me excited. I will never be able to afford a fancy tent but i can afford sticks! And since i used to be a carpenters helper i have banged a lot of nails. Thoroughly enjoyed that. This little building will look lovely with a little time and some rain to get the moss growing.
Inspirational. I absolutely love your Video's. It's my go-to, when I have a bad day. So relaxing, and you've taught me so many bushcraft skills. Thank you. 🏕
Hi Andy, this is by far one of the best videos I saw from you. May god generous to you and keep you healthy. Sorry for my bad English, I'm European. It shows impresifly, how mother nature keeps all secrets, You only have to unlock and use these possibilities to join at least a protected night in the woods.
Andy the drone footage at 23:00 is just other-worldly! Looks like Lord of the Rings, or some mythical place we've read about in books. You do it all man!
Sorry I'm late Kent fam! Got a new and better job! Andy, so glad to see you up and about again, this is such a classic video! From beginning to end, just awesome! I see Simon's saw still works well! 🍻💯🤘
I've missed your videos! And looking forward to watching and listening to them late at night while tucking in for bed: the sound of campfire, cooking and the animals in the background! Absolutely perfect!
Great shelter. My God mate, your food always looks lip smacking good. One senses that you are truly enjoying your outdoor experiences. Keep your fine vids coming. Many thanks.
Wow Andy, you’re quite talented to be able to create such a shelter from materials at hand! 😅 Quite a good haul of moss found lying on the forest floor too 😮
Yet another stimulating and educating video. Such an affable character. Calming and soft with so much love for nature which is portrayed in every post. Great content and as always no trace camping. Keep doing what you do best.
Andy, I absolutely love the photo prints from Lee Gavin! Mr. Gavin has captured all of the significant moments every camper sees, feels and smells every time we connect with nature on our outings. Beautifully done, indeed!
I love me some SAAAW-SAGES! Seriously, nothing better than a well made sausage for a meaty, fatty good meal. I love taking summer sausage, putting the end in a fire until it crisps up nicely, and then using a knife to carve the crispy sausage off and eat it. Then sticking the now pristine end back into the fire to crisp up again!
Hopefully the miss survived in its new home. Somehow I missed this video before. Love all the nature you are able to hear in your own little forest retreat!
I'm not halfway through this video but I feel I need to comment right now...that shelter you've built is bloody awesome! And I know your dinner will be equally as awesome. Another ace video Andy! I can say that now because I know it will be!
I have binged some of your videos,I must say very informative and doable for even a armchair enthusiast as myself .I like the idea of not having to have the Rambo style knife and kit to survive a night or heaven forbid two nights in the woods. Thanks stay safe from newfoundland and labrador Canada .
Such a great camp you set up. Your shelter is amazing and it erected so fast. Now the chicken dinner - Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! I must say those sausages looked mighty tasty too. One thing you did not have to bring any pots and pans on this trip. That rotary spit does a great job. I have to get one. I usually use branches but this is much better and the steel rod going through the meat helps cook the inside. It is too bad you cannot leave that shelter up for other overnighters. You put a lot of work into it. Happy adventures and all the best!
Decades ago my dad and I built a lean-to on the hillside behind our condo in Pittsburgh, PA. It held up during the blizzard of 1976 and we used it to store our food in when we didn’t have power. It didn’t last long after the following spring.
Ive never had much luck with moss - even when I put them up like roof tiles. I always carry a heavy duty tarp with me. I do like the layout of the shelter! Great video Andy!!
I was glad to see you used the sheep skin as you are still a bit under the weather, age of the north uses one they're great as insulation against the cold and damp and he camps in similar shelters all year round even in thick snow. Think he's in Norway. Get well soon , and take good care of yourself, love your videos 👍
When we were kids, my pal and I constructed a hut from branches held together with string, and covered all the gaps with moss just like this. We raided the local rubbish dump for items with which to furnish our little cabin. Never spent the night there though. Now I shudder to think of all the critters that lived in that moss...... Hope you are better now.
I've been binge watching your videos for a while now and they always feel so relaxing. And kudos for showing that it's important to put things back as they were and respect the environnement. Mosses are very useful, and many species are endangered, so placing them back and keeping them alive is crucial.
Watch lots of camping RUclipsrs but your cooking ones are simply the best around everyone else just does pilot noodles or burgers great to see such variety.
I jump to and fro amongst your videos, but always find them informative and entertaining. I hope to try some of what you do someday-if not the heavy work, the cooking! Thank you for all you do!
You really the coolest cat kent!! How cool is it that you get to use your skills while making money and enjoying nature. Pure genius!! I admire you greatly!
Hi from Australia, I gotta say the Pousan(not sure of the spelling) looked yummy. I also gotta say I love watching you build your campground. If I ever get lost in the bush I hope I stumble across your campground.
I LOVE to see the stretch of the stream near where you do many of your adventures! That also seems like the most eco-friendly method I have seen for collecting moss! Bannock and biscuit both benefit from suet. My go-to is the Atora brand from Brittain.
hi, viking😊, you know i like to see you at Kent grounds. Nicely build frame. wauwiezauwie, that’s a shed. And the good old taste for poussin is back. Thanks Andy.

Just watched this while enjoying my breakfast toast and coffee. I had planned to spend another day insulating the loft, but it's a hot, dusty, cobwebby, awkward job, and your excellent vid has convinced me I should do something bushcraft-related, so I'll take a day off and sharpen my knives and convert a cheap hand-axe into something more akin to a proper tool. Better go find my angle grinder.
Really like your vid’s !! Next time remember to start the moss at the bottom and work towards the top overlapping the top pieces over the bottom. ( think shingles as the water travels down. Last thing should be the pieces that go over the ridge pole. Not being a know it all, but this will make your next shelter much better and way drier in case you get some rain. Love the vids !! Keep them coming !!
Great video Kent. I love the stick shelter and the moss covering. Great you can get out there and enjoy the time in nature. Thanks for taking us with you.
Just started watching and your birthday livestream popped up in announcements so HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY from a very cold snowy Saskatchewan Canada. Bless your day
Thanks a lot for the good content. Excellent cinematography and excellent directing. I myself have recently started making videos about bushcraft, of course it does not compare with your work yet, but I am moving towards it very quickly. Greetings from Belarus!

Yes well. I live in the "wait a while" state. WA.
So I would be waiting longer. Ha ha!
A lot of survivalists destroy their shelters before they leave. I always wondered why, especially on a shelter like this.
That’s so lovely, ive just waited 40 years to get my own woodland, ive just purchased 7 acres of Welsh woodlands for my retirement present to myself and I can’t wait to have the same nights as this, absolutely amazing
Wow I am very envious I hope you have some amazing adventures.
Where in wales did you purchase? I’m from Swansea and have been looking but can’t find anything secluded 😢
Also, congratulations and enjoy retirement!!
Invite Kent there joint camping ?
You lucky lucky man. Hope you enjoy your retirement
