    Assalamualaikum. My grandfather passed away the Saturday before Ramadan Started. His heart was in Mosque. Even after many brain strokes he always went to pray in Mosque, even when he couldn’t see properly and had to take help to reach Mosque. Everyone please pray for my Grandfather so that he may find Jannatul Firdaous.

    • @pakizajinnah9716
      @pakizajinnah9716 2 года назад

      @@kabirrubaiyat Your claim has zero basis, especially when he hasn't even hinted towards it. Our society in general tens to lean more towards relationships of woman rather than woman herself. "She's the daughter/sister/wife/mother of x" instead of "she's x" while the man gets "he's x" instead of "he's the son/brother/husband/father of x" even worth nothing is the fact that the relationship a woman is bound with is almost always with a man while the relationship a man is bound with is never with a woman. A famous example would be Fatima Jinnah "sister of Muhammad Jinnah", while it is Muhammad Jinnah simply.

    • @hadilayyad6147
      @hadilayyad6147 2 года назад

      @@pakizajinnah9716 I don’t think this is religion thing, it’s more a culture thing. In most middle eastern countries, they will rarely refer to a woman by her name because they are protective of her. My brothers don’t tell their friends my name or my sister’s name and similarly I don’t bring up Women’s names when I’m talking to my dad, I’ll say ‘this person’s wife’ or ‘the daughter of’ to identify while keeping it vague. It’s not meant to make the woman feel less.

    • @pakizajinnah9716
      @pakizajinnah9716 2 года назад +1

      @@hadilayyad6147 I clarified first and foremost that it was "our society in general", I am not targeting any religion. Secondly, if I was any of your brothers, I would not be talking about my sisters in the first place. What you say to your dad is in a different context from my original comment. You don't say a woman's name out of respect and protectiveness for the woman, but what I said originally was that every woman deserves respect not because she's someone's relative, but because she is herself.
      It's been long so I don't remember correctly but I'll clarify why I made this original comment, I'm guessing the video said that "you should respect a woman because she is someone's daughter" which to me sounded very offensive. It seems only the parents and siblings would be hurt if their daughter and sister was disrespected in her husband's house? What about the woman herself? Wouldn't she feel hurt? What if the parents don't care at all either? Why can't we say "you should respect a woman because she is a human like us".
      This is a sad truth. Since ancient times the woman has had to take the husband's family name. I am not personally against it. But even a successful woman like Fatima Jinnah was always introduced as "Muhammad Jinnah's sister", but when it comes to Muhammad Jinnah he has never been introduced as "Fatima Jinnah's brother". So now Fatima Jinnah should only be respected because she is someone's sister? We don't even know unless we bother to learn about her achievements ourselves outside of "sister".

    • @hadilayyad6147
      @hadilayyad6147 2 года назад

      @@pakizajinnah9716 I understand where you’re coming from. This aspect also kind of annoys me but we grew up with it and unfortunately I don’t see it ever changing. My brothers don’t talk about me in details, sometimes they’ll say that I made them a favorite dish of theirs and I spoil them with desserts. Nothing serious or haram. I think the whole ‘daughter of’ and ‘sister of’ is meant to serve as a reminder for men to be more emphatic and to treat her with honor so he will realize if he doesn’t take care of her, her family will. I know not every girl is fortunate to have a family who loves and respects her, but in Islam we teach compassion and empathy. It’s just how most men’s brains are wired, I believe. I argue with my husband all the time with this, he’ll come and complain to me about something that bothered him in his family, like maybe his sister’s car broke down or that her kids are crazy. I then reply that her husband spoils her and actively raises their children together while my husband never fixes anything that needs to be fixed, i have to do it and he doesn’t lift a finger to help me with the kids and treats me like a discarded shoe. I always ask him ‘why is it not okay for your mother or sister but it’s fine for me to be treated this way? ‘ he never has an answer, bc obviously it’s a crappy reason. Men always think ‘oh she’s my wife, she has to settle for me, Islam says so’. And consequently they get away with too much bc even when we are wronged, no one genuinely sides with us bc they don’t want us to put the idea of divorce in our heads. Only genuinely good men with character and deen will respect a woman as her own self, not as his ‘wife’ or as a ‘daughter’. Sorry for the long paragraph 😬 I totally understand your frustration, I’m going through it now.

      So why did Allah allow it in the Quran itself. Lot of things are in Hadith but marrying 4 wives 3, 2 or 1 is the the Quran. In that order. 4 then 3 then 2 then 1!! Ok I get females won’t like it but Allah legislated it as halal if a man wants. The best if creation had multiple wives and so did most of the famous Sahaba we hear famous stories about. Education is key

      @@DiaryofaNomad you are very mistaken and misquoting the quraan for your own personal desires. The very next verse after the one you have quoted warns against the punishments of unfair treatment among wives. The quraan also mentions immediately after the verse you have mentioned, how ONE wife is better advised as mankind by nature is not just and there is a terrible punishment if youre unable to fulfil the happiness of all 4 wives. The hadeeth also mentions how this is among the lesser important of sunnahs. It is better for you to get all your fardh in order first - e.g treating that one wife properly and appreciating her, fulfilling her needs, keep her happy (something most men can barely do with just one wife) doing right by your family, praying on time, etc, before rushing to pick the lesser important parts of the deen that suit you.
      Besides, the esteemed men you refer to are NOT AT ALL comparable to the men of today hence they were able to maintain 4 wives fairly, and even they, pious as they were, had to deal with jealousy among wives, so do not compare men of today with the sahaba (R.A)

      @@DiaryofaNomadThere is a reason why allah allows many wives. There will be a time when females will be a lot more in number then men. Then what the extra females will do. There's another reason, in time of Muhammad pbuh there were multiple wars in which many man had died. Then what will happen to the women they left behind. That's why he encouraged the sahabas to marry some of them so that they will not be lost and have someone to rely on. Many men complain why the women don’t accept second wife, It's a sunnah they should accept it. But do you know
      "You will never be able to maintain ˹emotional˺ justice between your wives-no matter how keen you are. So do not totally incline towards one leaving the other in suspense. And if you do what is right and are mindful ˹of Allah˺, surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful." Surah An Nisa,Ayat 129.
