For one teapot full of happiness (i.e. tea):
    1. Pop the kettle on and leave it to cool for a couple of minutes. Making black or herbal tea? Then water at about 100°C is best. Green teas prefer slightly cooler water - around 80°C.
    2. Measure out 4 tsp (10g) of loose leaves and add these to your teapot.
    3. Measure out 800ml of water and add it to the pot. Give it a little stir.
    4. Let it brew for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you want your tea to be.
    5. Pop a tea strainer over your mug or cup and pour in the tea.
    6. Add milk or sugar if you fancy!
    7. Enjoy!

Sorry, i meant after the 3-5 mins. We have a teapot that we make tea “for two” in. This usually gets us 2 cups each. While drinking the first cup should the leaves stay in the pot with the remaing tea or should they be filtered out somehow? Thanks!!

Ah, good question. Technically, you should pour this out into a different vessel to stop it from brewing. If you do leave it in there is might become too strong. We hope this helps!@@travelinghamburger6093
