I own 51 and I bought it as soon as I smelt it. It’s good. Risqué is for a mature woman or a woman who knows what she wants. I own risqué it’s different you definitely won’t be smelling like everyone - you have to have an acquired taste to enjoy it. Scandal and danger are also unique perfumes, you can smell the quality of the notes. Enigma oud and enigma are perfect scents. They are one of the best scents in the market. They tell that you have class and you know what you want.
Elixir doesn’t really last long at all, that’s why one neededs to respray it , like all of us humble owners 😆question is - would I repurchase it? Hmmm - not sure, quite generic rose fruity/ maybe sort of peoni ... I’d rather Kurkjian up my summer time with l’eau a La Rose😉 51 is truly good - masterfully blended - you never guess what’s in it - just classy elegant staff👍
Tried the Roja Elixer yesterday at NM and loved it; wasn’t sure if my MFK Pluriel was too similar though in the lighter fragrance category. What are your thoughts?.... Update: I imagined you saying girl this is good good get it so I bought it! Lol it is warmer than Pluriel which is a brighter fragrance on me. ❤️ Happy to have them both in my collection.

Cheraye, like you I do not blind buy. I need to live with a scent for a few days, and still then I have made some mistakes. You are so wise to buy samples and try them for awhile to see if they are full bottle worthy. Now I look for fragrances that are a little different in a good way. They just need to speak to me. I’m going to invest in some samples.
I agree. I tried the Roja sampler and of them all… 51 was my favorite. It’s in a class of its own, truly. It’s very multi-faceted and complex. It envelops you in a rapturous way !! 💕🔥 Definitely bought the full size at completion.
I own full bottles of Elixir and Creation E Parfum. ❤️ ❤️❤️. Elixir has been my signature scent for this summer. Also have discovery atomizers of Reckless and Danger.

If you are ever in London, the boutique flagship store in Burlington Arcade in Mayfair is exquisite. I went to browse, and Roja himself was there. Such a gentleman. I bought a bottle of Enigma, which he signed for me. The bottles are exquisite and are works of art in themselves. Yes, they are expensive, but well worth the money. Lovely video. Thank you.

How would you compare Fragrance du bois to Roja ? similar different? I was on vacation in Istanbul 2018 and the minute I walked into the lobby the place smelled like Roja but not sure which one!!! It was Middle East scent in a bottle- HEAVENLY? I just recall seeing Diagehlev I think both British pound $1290 or something insane -- but isn't that a muscular fragrance?

They have a good sillage and longviety some perform better than others of course, Elixir is beautiful, but it's definitely a lighter fragrance. What's your favorite fragrance? I'm happy to help recommend some long lasting fragrances, although everyone's body chemistry is different 💁🏾♀️always happy 😊 to help.
Girl. I swear I am dehydrated. I was on your IG live last night and i was the one who said I need to drink more water so these scents can last. I dont have a favorite fragrance, but I think I need more heavy hitters. I think the ones I have are too daytime appropriate. The only heavy hitters (or even remotely so) I have are: Alien EDP, Chanel Coco, shagaf Oud , MFK Oud satin mood, and Versace Crystal Noir and thats about it. My other fragrances are Narciso Her EDT, Dior J’adore, Light Blue Intense, La Vie Est Belle EDP, Flower bomb EDP, Elie Saab Le Parfum edp, YSL libre, Be Layered First Kiss Exclusif, Armani Si Fiori, Jessica Simpson Fancy and Fancy Love, Chanel Eau Tendre EDP, Sofia Vergara Sofia and Love, Rihanna Nude, and a TON of other samples. What should I purchase next????!!! No more summer fragrances tho. Summer is out the door soon lol.
I've been curious about Roja fragrances, but I keep hearing about him using natural materials such as ambergris that are not ethically sourced. I'm not a 'tree hugger' by any stretch, but the idea of harming animals for fragrance is a huge no-no for me. I know there are now several aroma chemicals that can be used to recreate natural animalics such as ambergris (the dreaded ambroxan/amberwood lol), castoreum, musk, etc. so I can't imagine why a fragrance house would choose to do otherwise.
Ambergris is naturally excreted by a particular type of sleep whale. If anything it’s exceptionally rare and precious, so pricey. I’m not sure how you “unethically source” a whale’s 💩 🤔
@@GretaBeth Maybe it's because of the connection with the whaling industry that makes it unethical to some people, I'm not sure. I mean, as far as I know, ambergris just floats along on the surface of the ocean, drying in the sun, so if someone stumbled (or swam lol) into some then I don't see how it's unethical to collect it.
The essence are lighter in my opinion, I prefer the originals and some but the essence are really nice and some of the other ones because they're lighter easier to wear for spring and summer

Creation E/Enigma parfum & cologne por Homme are my favorites. Some may ask, por homme? Yes, por homme. Is not masculine to me, but it’s sensual and sexy, can be worn by both genders. Sweetie Oud is all right, the dry down is the best, but still does not speak to me the way Creation E/Enigma does. Elysium is also good, but tends to lean a bit more masculine.
I agree, my tendency leans toward masculine scents... the notes & accords resonate with me & body chemistry. Plus I get so many compliments from both genders.

Elixir is one is his least niche perfumes and not worth the price point. It smells like any perfume you can get on the high street (I’m from the Uk). I know a lot and own a lot of Roja’s perfume. I think with this perfume he was trying to appeal to mainstream buyers or cloud pleasers. Roja is my fav perfumer but elixir is not amongst his greats

Cheraye! I have been noticing that the fragrances i buy arent long lasting. 😩. I have bought lotions and potions to go along with the scents but idk. Maybe its just me. How does this line perform?
They have a good sillage and longviety some perform better than others of course, Elixir is beautiful, but it's definitely a lighter fragrance. What's your favorite fragrance?

Girl. I swear I am dehydrated. I was on your IG live last night and i was the one who said I need to drink more water so these scents can last. I dont have a favorite fragrance, but I think I need more heavy hitters. I think the ones I have are too daytime appropriate. The only heavy hitters (or even remotely so) I have are: Alien EDP, Chanel Coco, shagaf Oud , MFK Oud satin mood, and Versace Crystal Noir and thats about it. My other fragrances are Narciso Her EDT, Dior J’adore, Light Blue Intense, La Vie Est Belle EDP, Flower bomb EDP, Elie Saab Le Parfum edp, YSL libre, Be Layered First Kiss Exclusif, Armani Si Fiori, Jessica Simpson Fancy and Fancy Love, Chanel Eau Tendre EDP, Sofia Vergara Sofia and Love, Rihanna Nude, and a TON of other samples. What should I purchase next????!!! No more summer fragrances tho. Summer is out the door soon lol.

I've been curious about Roja fragrances, but I keep hearing about him using natural materials such as ambergris that are not ethically sourced. I'm not a 'tree hugger' by any stretch, but the idea of harming animals for fragrance is a huge no-no for me. I know there are now several aroma chemicals that can be used to recreate natural animalics such as ambergris (the dreaded ambroxan/amberwood lol), castoreum, musk, etc. so I can't imagine why a fragrance house would choose to do otherwise.

Ambergris is naturally excreted by a particular type of sleep whale. If anything it’s exceptionally rare and precious, so pricey. I’m not sure how you “unethically source” a whale’s 💩 🤔
@@GretaBeth Maybe it's because of the connection with the whaling industry that makes it unethical to some people, I'm not sure. I mean, as far as I know, ambergris just floats along on the surface of the ocean, drying in the sun, so if someone stumbled (or swam lol) into some then I don't see how it's unethical to collect it.

Do you prefer the essence over the parfumes? If so why ?specifically 51.
The essence are lighter in my opinion, I prefer the originals and some but the essence are really nice and some of the other ones because they're lighter easier to wear for spring and summer

@@shannajanay2279 I would choose Elixer it for this season for sure, it's easier to wear but it's definitely a light fragrance if you like more of a heavier fragrance definitely go for 51

Creation E/Enigma parfum & cologne por Homme are my favorites. Some may ask, por homme? Yes, por homme. Is not masculine to me, but it’s sensual and sexy, can be worn by both genders.
Sweetie Oud is all right, the dry down is the best, but still does not speak to me the way Creation E/Enigma does.
Elysium is also good, but tends to lean a bit more masculine.

Elixir is one is his least niche perfumes and not worth the price point. It smells like any perfume you can get on the high street (I’m from the Uk). I know a lot and own a lot of Roja’s perfume. I think with this perfume he was trying to appeal to mainstream buyers or cloud pleasers. Roja is my fav perfumer but elixir is not amongst his greats

@@royalblue9165 depends on what type of notes you like in fragrance or woody, spicy or floral. However, Enigma for females is a lovely fragrance and sure to have heads turning.
