Love the gentle watery colourway. You are so inspiring - I’m sure I’m not the only viewer to feel the need to play more . Thank you

Yay! Such a pretty, sunny yarn. And I loved watching my yarn’s creation! It was fun being your lab partner! 😊

Toward the end of this video, you mentioned the grippy quality of Palette. I just did a dyepot experiment with Palette and it totally felted! I tried to be so careful, but I must have heated it too much. Now I know that I should aim for a different base when I want to dye. Good to know that Wool of the Andes works better and that superwah works even better. Thank you!

So it sticks to itself easily, but it may not be a felted mess. Whenever I dye with it it looks ugly, but then pulls apart without any issue. There is a reason it is wonderfulf or colorwork projects!

It looks like it has heaps of yellow on my monitor. The yellow and green combo makes me think of dandelions.

Silly question, but have you used jacquard ecru acid dye before? Do you have any videos that show what the coloring looks like? I have some stroll glimmer and I'm not sure if I'd like it better bare or in ecru...

There are no silly questions! I haven't specifically dyed yarn with ecru a solid, but here you can see that the ecru undertone is very sand like: www.chemknits.com/2021/04/swatching-acid-dye-powders-on-yarn.html (search the page for ecru and it will bring you down to the crude swatch.)

Tell me why I saw the thumbnail and my sleep deprived brain said “watermelon yarn. Must be red in the middle.”

That would be super fun to have this as a rind colorway! I did a watermelon set a long time ago and loved how it turned out. Maybe I need to revisit that!
