Great video and an even better build Pablo, I haven't built a model since I was in my 20's I'm 65 now and thinking I might like to give it a try, thanks for the insperation.
1:59 did you use glue to stick the hubcaps down or do they click into place as the instructions are a little hard to understand, it’s my 1st ever Revell kit .
@@Ken-sl4um that was one tricky part. Painting on rubber was not easy it required two attempts fist painting acrylic but not sticking well, then adding a white masking tape cut in circle and that was the final result. Thanks for asking
Can you tell me what brand of white paint you used and what pressure/nozzle combination on your airbush? I'm having trouble airbrushing Vallejo Model Air White. Apparently white is a difficult color to airbrush.
Agree that, white is not friendly to airbrush. Some tips: use thinner / if you have use white ink / spray thin layers with 3 vars pressure / I used 0,6mm nozzle
My son just got me this kit for my birthday, he thinks I have skills. This looks like a nightmare. Mine may come out custom. Lol. Shaved door handles and chrome. That sort of thing. Lowered with tinted windows.
The hatches and doors do not really fit together well. There are partially wide gaps (12:50, leading edge of the door upper part) or they protrude (14:30, engine hatch). Either one takes the effort to improve the fit (which will take a lot of time), leave it in the open position (in a diorama), so that it doesn't catch the viewer's eye or simply glue it in position, fill the gaps with putty, sand it down and rescribe with a craft knife. The surface of the body is not really optimal in my view; from some angles of view a pronounced orange skin effect is visible and the surface is not really shiny. Perhaps the spray color was too thick. On the other hand the body of a car is perhaps much easier to spray-paint. Overall the kit is not bad, but Tamiya probably would have done it better...
It's a nice kit, but what a terrible paintjob. I think the main issue is that you're likely using the aqua line of revell paints, which are utter crap. They do not cover, do not stick, and dry up with stains. Always use the enamel paint.
LOVE the wheel masking technique!
Great 😊
Was für eine Perfekion!!!👍👍👍

Thank you for sharing. I am going to build the flower version now.
Thank for commenting. Have fun building the flower version!
A very good looking Samba! I particularly enjoyed watching you finagle the windows- excellent job, Pablo! Best wishes from the hills of Virginia. Cork
Wow so kind Cork happy to hear your feedback. Kind regards 🥰
I just bought this kit. I love the VW Kmobi
Definitely is a beautiful one 😍

Definitely you should give it a try. I’m sure there are many models that can awake your inner builder 🥰
Perfekt ❤👍👍👍
Thanks!
Great video, I will be watching future videos
Thanks!
Very fine work, Pablo. Well done. It's interesting that you do so much assembly before paint - that's different to how I do it.
Sometimes is almost imposible, at least for me, to paint, varnish and polish having all assembled. Thank for commenting ♥️
good choice of assembly I usually paint it before assembling sometimes the words are left over
@@davidmartinodm I saw this procedure in @plasmo channel, he is my favourite scale models builder 😊
Hmmm. Was surprised that you didn't do the paintwork first. Personally I paint everything before assembly but fair play man.
I always try to build as much as I can before paint job
Nice video
Thanks
Nice build mate come up beautiful cheers ✌
Thanks Tony 🤩
Very nice job! 👏👌👍
Thanks!
AMAZING
Thx 🙏🏽
What kind of paint sprayer did you use
I use acrylic sprayed with an airbrush

They are sticked to place, no click system. Just a little glue drop 🤗
@@PabloModelkits thank you , that helps a lot 😊
Any more detailed explanation how to make those whitewalls? They look great.
You mean the body white parts?
the white wall tires

Thanks again they look great.
Cuantas piezas tiene esta colección ?
173 piezas 🤓

How did you do the red pinstripe around the vehicle?
I used a red permanent marker. Same trick as black windows edges 👀 it’s a hack that works pretty well
whats the stick u use to put the window in please
Its a wax stick. Very useful tool to place small parts 👍🏾
@@PabloModelkits Thanks very useful to kn just getting in to modeling

Hi , where do you got the Wax pen from pls ?
You can find it in a hobby shop but shhhh you can also use a candle stick 🕯 it will work the same 😉
@@PabloModelkits Thx Pro
what was that glue pen you used for placing the windows onto the body ?
It's a wax pen

Any advice to improve exterior job?
