If I recall, that cutscene is why the Keyes level is glitched and doesn't work for Cursed Halo.
@@Cyyberslam8 Not glitched, if I remember correctly, the Chief says there's no time to save Keyes so the level gets skipped
@@Cyyberslam8 i forget where but the mod maker said the mod made keyes unplayable so he took the cutscene where he dies as canon lol
@@ASCARNAZ You also forgot the reason that Keyes kills himself in the flood video cutscene because he's using the backwards pistol and kills himself which is the sole reason there's no rescue mission.

He got bonked on the head as a turret traversed. I guess that's a better way to go than how that hunter got launched to the moon

Heads up, the assault rifle's explosion isn't on the last bullet. There's a heat gauge on the ammo counter, it overheating is what sets it off. It just so happens that 110-ish out of 120 rounds is how much it takes to overheat.

im glad they figured out the blunderbuss jump, and i hope we get to see them do the flood reveal level cuz that cutscene is wonderful in this
If they do only 1 level per video that's at least 3 away. And Assault is a super long level, probably 2 videos for that. ... 4 weeks until we see "the moment"
They might miss it. I saw it somewhere else and almost missed it, but what I did see I was confused about. It took a few rewatches to understand what actually happened.

Im currently watching them in the hangar and I was sooo hoping they figure out how to jump with the blunderbuss
Yeah, when you do the speedrunning trick where you use a triple grenade jump (or in this case blunderbuss) to skip a few floors, it messes up the loading sequence of the level a little bit and causes it to end at that room rather than at the hangar. Which makes it extra handy for speedrunning, actually.

I can't believe ABBA happened at the end. I was amazed with how many D20s they've thrown they hadn't seen that yet. Also I hope they get the flying warthog.

I really wish they would have at least got some version of the teams just for a cursed Halo game.
Check every single weapon you see, most weapons have a few variations. I hope they find the other plasma rifle(s) AND the special melee "they" have. Also there's several warthog variants, I think the best one both looks normal before you get in and is only in D20s (Ray got it this level)
The irony is it’s just the normal Warthog that you can get in. It’s spawns normally on its own. I was so deeply saddened they did not see the other plasma rifle.

You know what I miss? Videos having "Part 2" or "Episode 2" in the title.
Yeah, screw making content more convenient for people who already watch your videos. Just make sure the algorithm is happy, cuz that's not gonna change, ever. Funny thing is, after I unsubbed I haven't seen a video pop up from them so not putting numbers in their titles is really helping them out. Guess I'll just check back in a week or so for more halo.
Keeping up with series has become a lot more difficult, I can't see how this is helping their views.

But there's a lot more than just numbering episodes that is going in to why they're lucky to get 1-200k views on a video that would have gotten millions 5 years ago. It's funny, back in the day when they would say things like, "tell the audience to screw themselves", I laughed. Boy did I not know how far they'd take the joke. Lol

I would love if they used the fully charged plasma pistol at some point in an open level, instead of just never doing it because Gav kiled them with it in a Hallway

I like how Michael spoke quietly when Gavin was sniping the sleeping grunts. I love it when a game gets so fun that you can't help but play along with the setting. This is joy, and I treasure it.

The only Achievement Hunter series thats worth watching. This and the F**kface and Facejam podcasts are the only rooster teeth productions worth looking forward to imo.

Why has it been more than a month since the last cursed halo video? Each video in this series has more views than any other video posted in the last 6 weeks. Like what excuse is there for not continuing this
Lets play doesnt seem to like views anymore. They still have access to most of the people who made them millions of view(Geoff Jack Michael Jeremy Gavin Fredo) and would just have to remove a few annoying peopel and play some fun games and im sure theyd easily be back at 100-300k per video.

The reason the needlers are like that is they're firing snarks from Half-Life. Tiny, bouncy creatures that'll gnaw your legs off!
Edit: As for the exploding rifles, take a look at your weapon's ammo counter, on the model itself. It's got an indicator for the weapon's heat level, and exceeding that threshold (indicated by it turning red) equals your weapon exploding.
But is it the greatest day?

44:06 So the reason the skipped to the end of the level after clearing that room instead of having to run through a few more hallways is because of the massive blunderbuss jump they did earlier in the level. Speedrunners do the exact same thing with a triple grenade jump and because of that skip, it already considers the end of the level "cleared" even if they aren't at the end yet.
Which Gavin should remember since he's done all of the Speedrun Achievements & legendary speedrun times but honestly I don't blame them with how many games they play/ things they do

I’m not sure if you noticed or not, but the assault rifle (or battery rifle in this) has a heat indicator on it, as well as an indicator for the wind up/fire rate.
27:52 to 28:40 : Do they not see the shimmer of the invisible dude? Gavin deliberately aimed away from the invisible elite in favor of the visible grunt, then Michael couldn't figure out why Gavin didn't respawn because the invisible elite was still there and he didn't notice.

The battery rifles have an overheating aspect. When the ammo counter on the actual gun turns red, stop shooting or die in the ensuing explosion.
You might say... they have an overheating battery.
Where is the next part!! This is the best series, so good!
So the needler has become the snarker. Snarks were living grenades from the original Half-life that function like the needles do, moving towards anything they're thrown at and biting them for small damage until they explode.

That ending was great, to the getting killed in the cut scene, to hoglet shenanigans to the Abba nade, that was fantastic.

After the series is over, could we have a final episode where you guys and others in the office do halo multiplayer game modes but it’s cursed. It’d be a great way to round this whole thing off.
Hope this comment is helpful for the future, but the battery rifle doesn't explode at end of clip. It explodes when it overheats from sustained fire. There's a new indicator on the rifle itself that indicates it rate of fire (the circle of dots that slowly fills up) and the display will turn red. Once it's fully red from sustained fire, the rifle explodes. So you can use it super effectively with burst fire. :P
Not quite-there's a heat gauge that fills up underneath the ROF circle, and *that's* the indicator for when the gun explodes. You can actually have it at max ROF without exploding as long as you manage the heat right!

Interesting to see the difference between them and Ray on how they used the shotgun.
Ray focused on the knockback on him and used the shotgun to travel (like using it to jump up in the speedrun tactic room), Michael and Gav focused on the knockback on the enemy and used it to launch them instead.
Edit: Oh wait watched a bit more and they've figured it out.
