I don't know if you missed it or not, but Jhonson is supposed to give you a mod at some point that allows you to do kung fu and other shit.
The kung-fu doesn't work in multiplayer.

The pisstols range is really piss poor.
Try charging the “normal” plasma pistol all the way far from your target out in the open. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
