I was there and it was great to see so many cars especially all those C8's that showed. One thing is for sure, so many people who showed their love for The Chevrolet Corvette. It's an awesome feeling.

Ha, ha. "You're going to need a bigger boat." Yeah, like an aircraft carrier for landings and take-offs. Arresting wires will be needed for hot landings and a catapult needed for speedy take-offs. There were no Vertical Jump Vettes at this takeover. They were come'n in hot and went to thrusters upon departing.🤣 You know, ideas are the easy part, but the implementing of same is just a tad more difficult. But here's an idea for the next one. How about a sign-in table where those attending give their name, email address, Vette particulars and what I'd really like to see/know, where did they come from indicating their town and state. I can't believe those guys that came up from NC. Well done guys! A BIG well done to you and Scott. I think I mentioned in Scott's upload that the next Takeover should be named "The Takeover 500." Hmmm, I wonder how/why I chose the number 500?😉 The event was a 4G meetup. Great Cars, Great Attendees, Great Weather and a Great Time! Another "idea"/suggestion is for the next Takeover you might to see if you can arrange for a motel to use for those long-distance travelers. Save the Wave👋🏼
It's not back to the drawing board, but this was definitely an eye opening experience and we learned a lot. First, this thing has blown up and future locations are extremely limited. This is a good problem to have lol. Second, we need more help so we're not exhausted running around trying to put out fires. Again, another good problem to have. Each time we'll get better and better and eventually it'll be a smooth running event where I can hang out with everybody and enjoy the day.
Well, things run in three's. Here's my third suggestion. How about moving the Corvette Takeover to Tustin, Ca. Remember that location? Those Zeplin hangers should just about be big enough for the next Takeover. 🤦♂️🤣
@@YellowVette04 i have one cuestion my friend i nave the original whells in my vett and i wants to to get 18 x8 1/2 front and 19 x10 in the back .the cuestion 19×10 is ok i wanted flash whit the fender.
@@chicalitrece9409 I have 18x9.5 +50 in front and 19x11 +55 in rear. Just need to make sure you order wheels with the correct offset. I'm not the guy to ask about that lol, bc I have no clue except I did a lot of Google searches and the vendor made it easy since the wheels I was getting were specific C5 offset.
Good luck in your search and you won't regret your purchase. I'm still happy 5 years later and not selling anytime soon. I'm just a few exits north of you, right off 117. They are the most produced and generally more reliable gens. Older gen owners tend to not drive as much for obvious reasons. Thanks for watching
