thank u for this video!!! finally someone who cares about the backside of their freshly glazed charm not touching the surface 😂 the clips are a really helpful tip!
I'm making clay charms and keychains for the first time, and I'm sharing my process on my channel. Thank you so so much for this advice! I love your work 💕🍁🫶
What an excellent video you have given us. I am older, new to polymer clay creations and have watched a lot of videos. Your approach to simplify the process in a step by step easy to understand method is invaluable. Thank you! Looking forward to watching your other videos.😊
ive been watching u for a while i love love watching your videos can u make a detailed video on making a miffy charm? the one viral on Pinterest? thank u
I love your video❤! But do you know why my air dry clay after some time gets air bubbles or cracks after resin? I've been searching everywhere to find an answer and I haven't found one :(, the figure/keychain looks nice but after some time it would crack and some get air bubbles under the resin
@@shafacorp3223 hmm i’m not sure about air dry clay to be honest, as I use polymer clay. But from what i’ve gathered online it’s possible that your air dry clay hasn’t dried fully yet and after you’ve applied the resin, the tension creates the cracks. Maybe try allowing more time for the air dry clay to dry and see if that helps :)
@@nxdiagxrcia that’s frustrating :( hmm what’s worked for me is applying thinner layers, and maybe try allow it to cure under the UV lamp for a longer time ✨

Glad it was helpful! ❤ ahh i always struggled with not touching the glazed sides and found that this method did the trick 😊
I like the idea of curing polymer clay creations under the lamp and then sun as well. It's giving the clay extra protection for sure 🧡
@@mintart242 yea it’s a double measure i’ve found to work really well.

@@strawbzz6 thanks for the love! 🤗 i can definitely make a miffy charm tutorial 🤍
Also do you have any tips on how to clean your brushes after using the resin?
I use a resin cleaner to wipe the brush, then store the brush in a food storage bag and away from sunlight.

What are you using to make the key caps rotate?
@@Itsbetssssyyyy it’s a mini rotating table! they’re usually used for photography
@ thanks
I tried this yesterday but they wouldn’t cure under my UV lamp 😔👎🏽
@@nxdiagxrcia oh no how come 🥺 was this with uv resin and following package instructions on curing time?
@@wildapplestudio5764 im not sure 😭 I followed the instructions and I’m using the blue moon studio brand but they’re still kinda tacky
