- Bhairavgad or Moroshicha Bhairavgad is one of the most thrilling treks in Maharashtra. This Basalt rock pinnacle is situated near Moroshi village in Thane District, Murbad Taluka.
If you love adventurous treks, then this fort is for you. One can complete the trek in 5Hrs with the help of Local Guides. A rope and Harness are required to complete the trek. One should avoid this trek in heavy Rains.

@@jkrajamani1930 Yes. I thought you would be aware that a very famous hindu temple “Katas Raj” is not far from I live in islamabad. Search wkipidea. LK Adwani also visited in i believe in 2005. There are many other such places. Unfortunately not spoken about too much or known in India

Brilliant content. just a small suggestion from safety view point, you should have two hooks on safety gear so that while switching the hooks from one rope to another you can first attach the free hook to the new portion of rope and free the hook from previous portion. this will ensure at any given point your safety harness is attached to rope, providing better safety.

This is the most thrilling and scary trek I have ever witnessed in my entire life. You shouldn't be taking risk of filming by your selfie stick while on the inclines.
Thoroughly enjoyed it with bated breath till the last second. I wouldn't dare do this trek though.

I am from Assam. I remember in school we studied a story about a fortress called Singha Garh - how Tanaji's army climbed its steep walls with the help of a monitor lizard and attacked Moghul army and won back the fort. Memory of those lessons came back rushing to my mind after watching this video. Thanks a lot and keep conquering new heights!!! 👍

I went to kalavantin trek few days ago and it was scary but thrilling for me, but this trek vanue is on another level, it's too damn scary to even look at, hat's off for completing it...

I came to Maharashtra in 2006 due to a job change and eventually married to a "Marathi Mulgi". I trekked few of the forts around Pune in past. Those who trek these forts, I request you to bow down once in respect of those brave Maratha soldiers, sardars and support staff who dared to climb and rappell these trecherous terrains regularly without any safety gears just for saving this country from invaders.
