Use a metal or fabric cutting ruler and a roller cutter for straight cuts
Yes! The roller works very well. I have a cricut machine that cuts fabric (with a rotary cutter attachment), so I've been spoiled, but if you don't have that, a handheld quilting roller/rotary cutting tool is the most precise option. They're even better than the cutting arm cutters (I'm not sure if that's what they're called, so I hope you know what I mean). Those types of cutters can be bulky and the ones that aren't bulky and heavy are almost never stable enough to make precision cuts. Great suggestion!

It’s always so hard to find perfect bead mat! Had to diy 😅
To cut straight, use a ruler and one of those circular cutters that looks like s pizza cutter- quilters use it for cutting their pieces.it’s very easy and fast and most of all accurate!

@@padmavathichathapuram1288Yes, that's the proper name for them! 🥰 I like the description given, though, of the pizza cutter! It's very accurate. They DO look like pizza cutters. 😂 If I didn't know what they were called, I think I'd describe them that way too. 🙃
Oh, just a note for anyone using a handheld rotary cutter for the first time, be very careful when replacing the blades, and absolutely make sure you are getting the right size and brand of blade for your cutter. They are NOT all interchangeable, and they are EXTREMELY sharp!
