I eas diagnosed with GAD General Anxiety Disorder years ago. I'm a lit better today. What's helped me tge most has been sticking to a routine of journaling and mindfulness (i use a little book called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels), eliminated caffeine and alcohol from my diet, a setting boundaries in relationships.
I'm interested in psychiatry's bumping up against neurology and then caroming into a more inclusive humanity. Sorting out the brandy from the cognac takes data and we don't have enough data yet.
You are absolutely correct. However, that’s authentically me. This podcast is all about crushing anxiety and part of that is stopping with the people pleasing. If I can’t be authentically myself on my own channel, then where can I 😂 I totally understand if it’s not for you though! No judgment on my end, friend. 👍🏻
