If you want to talk about injuries, Wolves were fighting for Europe until Cunha, Hwang and Neto (the whole attacking front three) got injured.

Did u ever think about how many excuse do you give to your team? Liverpool had probably as many as manchester united injuries and the most important thing they have less quality defenders so if Van dijk is injured there is Konate & Quansah most of the time. Robertson was out almost half of the season. Trent also 2-3 months out. Explain this then. And btw when Liverpool played League Cup Final against Chelsea we almost win it with 80% of our starters out. Still won it anyway. There is no excuses. [Arsenal & City has the less injuries most of the time that is the only true thing you said.]
Ten Hag still spent 200m on just Onana Mount Antony, instead of keeping Sancho De Gea and signing other positions. He can't be trusted for a rebuild.
He asked for the players. Replacing De Gea is questionable but you can’t blame him for us paying nearly double the asking price on others, that’s Murtough madness, nothing to do with ETH

@@mightymoeish Again, Anthony wasn’t an expensive winger, if we had competent people doing transfers he would have been around 30 mil & no one would be calling him a flop. He was bought for over double his worth & given a 10x salary increase. Expecting that not to affect a player is madness.
How was our back line “in shambles”? We had one of the best defensive records in the league last year. This year we’ve had 30+ different back line combinations in 40+ games due to endless injuries. Again, not really on the manager.

@@RD-zx6py Nope. Most clean sheets & one of the least goals conceded all season, name it what you like, stats tell stories. Did we sometimes collapse against big teams, of course but other times held our own & got some great results.

Villa 3 first team players 3 acl injuries right backs injured most of the season down to 2 fit midfielders only had one centre half fit for weeks and we are still 4th

are you mental? villa have had 3 first teamers out the entire season, plus we lost kamara half way through and various standard ones as you might expect, but we have generally had about 4 to 5 first teamers out every single game.

This is simple common sence.... playing with a team your trying to rebuild, plus not being able to play them with your own personal philosophy beacuse of their personal strengths and weakness is another importat factor to consider... Ten Hag needs more time at united with the same attitutue and backing that was given to Klopp and pep by their clubs...

Tottenham haven’t had injuries 😂😂 They were decimated for about 15 games. The league is how it should be relative to the quality of the sides. Injuries have made a marginal difference.

Have people forgot that we were carried by our defence last season? and that we havent had our entire back 4 (bar Dalot) for the majority of the season. It's not a surprise that we were so much better with just Martinez back in those few games. Evans and Maguire arent able to play the style of football ETH is trying to. (shout out to the idiots that seem to think we dont have a style of play because it's not working)
Consensus among the fan base when we got ETH was we would need at least a few years before we were properly competing again.
United started season with full strength team (minus Hojlund) and were a shambles, 33 Prem games later still a shambles. We’ve had internationals Lindleof, McGuire, Dalot (Bissacka) fit most of the season. Wasted £130 million on Antony & Mount, constantly exposed midfield (joke), constant lack of service for striker (joke). ETH clearly doesn’t rate Amrabat or Reguilon why get them in 1st place, ETH talked about promoting talent but never picked Diallo or Pellistri but always out of form Rashford and what does manager say in his big interview at end of season “trust the process”.

Seems like a load of excuses again, for a manager who has huge resources and has been there for 2 years. The performances have been bad, it's not just just a simple defence problem with some injuries. Get a grip, the guy doesn't have what it takes and the players don't respect him. It's hilarious how quickly some fans go back and forth between having confidence in the guy to thinking he's got to go. Right now, there seems to be some kind of positivity around keeping him, but you watch - he'll be on the end of another shocking game in no time, and he'll be inches away from being given the sack. So predictable it's laughable. How can you perform like that against Coventry and still think this guy is the right manager. Just insane to me.

Some people are so delusional about ETH, injuries are not an excuse, how a manager can say "I couldn`t play my favorite starting 11 for year and a half", you understand what this means to all other players? The only team, that didn`t have major injuries is Arsenal, all other teams had injury problems. Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle had as much injuries problems, as Manchester United and none of them was crying about that and all of these teams looked much much better, than Manchester United this season, even the teams that are behind them in the table. ETH is hiding his terrible transfer window in the summer, buying Onana for 50M while you have de Gea was idiotic, same goes for the 60M for Mount, i could say the same for Hojlund around 80M, but let`s accept he is for the future, but the money wasted on Onana and Mount could buy you 2 3 good players and some of the injuries no to be felt that bad, Varane, Casemiro and Shaw injuries took you by surprise, really? The biggest problem for Manchester United is not where they are in the table, but being too high based on their performance through the season.
