Believe it or not, it was a lot of fun to pop in a movie at night... Cinema at sea! We sat outside (risking moon burn) and aimed our chairs toward the living room. TV during the day is a waste, I agree, but at night it might help create another memory. Thanks for writing.

It was a "free" stay using Hilton HHonors points. We were upgraded (in a sense) because we were originally booked at the Waldorf Astoria but shifted to the Conrad because the Waldorf was leaving the Hilton Family. And at the Waldorf's the lowest level room was an over-water villa.
My goodness that looks amazing!
In our three visits, we had no serious issues with bugs. We spent two nights in a beach villa and did encounter some ants. But that was minor. The hotel did provide insecticide for flying pests (which we did not use) in the closet.

Nice, and who is the jerk who dis-liked? Maybe a motel 6 manager in Miami?
How are the bugs there I heard there are dangerous spiders and other wildlife. Do you deal with that in a water villa?
Do you redeem the standard rate of 50,000 and contact the hotel to upgrade with money to a water villa? I'm considering doing the same thing.
Who the heck would be watching TV there???????
