Humm remember this song over 22 years ago at least, when we could visit the stones. considering i am 45 and loved this song since a teenager many many moons ago
for those who dont know this reference wally hope was the nickname of the organiser of The Windsor Free Festival and the Stonehenge festival in the early 70's. he was effectively incarcerated by the state without trial on a trumped-up mental health section and died as a result. this was the start of the state's determined campaign to eradicate free festivals and associated cultures/countr-cultures which ultimately lead to the violence at the Beanfield.
