  • The Malamute is our most supportive and durable boot for freeride
performance. Featuring a very stiff, responsive upper built with
Fit To Ride construction and loaded with features like MTN
GOAT outsole and Precision Harness. This eco-friendly boot was
designed for riders who demand durability, response, and comfort
    for seasons to come.

Omg! Finally! They remembered about the boa. I have 2 pairs of different years malamute and the lace system is really pain there. After few weeks of using the laces become thinner in the place where they holded by the jaws and you have to tight the laces after every run. If you don't doing that your foot is like pencil in a glass. After all the pain I switched to Nidecker boots.
Will wait another century for the 3 zone boa. Lol

Have you addressed the footprint size? The last pair I had a few years back were a good size or more bigger than the competition. Not a big deal if you’re a men’s size 8 but a real concern when you’re over a 10 and not riding wide boards.

Also curious about this. My 10.5 Adidas Acerras have the footprint of most other 9.5s. Would love to snag some Salomons, but I've based my bindings off of the Adidas' reduced footprint and can't go back up to larges.

Yes. The new Malamute gets our 'Fit To Ride' construction. One of the design qualities of FTR is creating a boot that's at least 10% more compact (and 10% more lightweight). So, this should be nearly a full size down from the prior footprint.

@@OneEightNate same with Ride Trident 10.5s. All my bindings are medium.

Trying contact someone at Salomon about my dialogue boots. I purchased them 2 years ago and my right top boa keeps popping out and don’t know who to talk to about warranty. Seems ridiculous that after 10 days the boa is not working @salomon

This sounds like a boa issue. You can try taking it to a shop near you and having them replace the Boa coiler. We do not address customer service issues here. If you can't find a local shop, use this link: support.salomon.com/s/?language=en_US
