Are Aliens and UFOs...Demonic? Astrophysicist Reveals Why UFO Claims Aren't What They Seem

- Are aliens real? Do UFOs really exist? These questions, once relegated to the confines of conspiratorial enterprises, are now legitimately being pondered among some scientists, academics - and even in the halls of Congress. It's an issue Dr. Hugh Ross, an astrophysicist and apologist, has long researched and explored.
"I became a UFO expert, but not on purpose," he recently said. "I was an amateur astronomer before I became a professional astronomer." Ross eventually found himself handling UFO reports at universities, exploring claims people made about aliens and unidentified phenomena. And he came to some fascinating conclusions.
"About 99% of what people would report to me as UFOs, I could explain as natural phenomena, a hoax, or secret government military activity," Ross said. "But there's a 1% residual that falls in a different category, and these would be UFO phenomena."
As for the human reaction to these encounters, Ross also noted they are "never beneficial" and interactions are "always deleterious." "The best you're going to come away from with one of these encounters is recurring, terrifying nightmares," he said. "Worst case scenario, you get killed."
Reports of alien encounters also mirror what some have experienced during claims of demonic activity, he said. From going into trances to engaging in automatic writing, Ross believes the parallels between demonic possession and purported interactions with extraterrestrials cannot be ignored.

Absolutely, I saw lots of UFO's when I was a child playing on the farm, but we were told not to talk about them because we would be ridiculed and taken away if determined. Later I became a Christian and I discovered that out the back of our property was a hill called Mt. Ridley. I got talking to a Brother in Christ. He was an Aboriginal guy who also became a Christian and he told me that when he was just a child, he went through the initiations in that place, Mt. Ridley. He described the ceremony to me.
Suddenly, I understood all that happened on that farm and to our family and eventually to our farm.
I can assure you All, they are not aliens at all, but demons.

I once did some ministry with a girl who said she was tormented by Aliens, long story short, as we prayed over her, demon's began to manifest and as we prayed against them and she renounced them and the events, her trauma ceased.

I’m a Christian and I’ve had “alien” experiences my whole life dude. I’ve had contact with whatever these things are ever since childhood and I’m 40 now. My father had them, his mother, and his grandmother….and now my daughter. Every last one of us professes Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal savior. I’m not discounting demonic activity, at this rate I think that’s plausible, but it’s comments like yours that prevent Christians like myself from coming forward. It’s sad because secular individuals receive more empathy than Christians get inside our own communities. The fact of the matter is that I would never discuss this in my Christian circles for the exact reason of your comments. I’m not a perfect person by any means, but I love Jesus and am trying my best. I've been an avid Ufologist since my childhood in the early 1970's. And I can honestly say that this was one of the better conversations that I have found on the subject of UFO's and Religion. Very well done presentation.
That is something I did, when I was a teenager, I would go to the library to find books on UFOs. I was disappointed, because there is a lot of conjecture, and no evidence. What we are seeing is people's psychological projections for UFOs, and other fabricated things from the occult.

I lived with my aunt for a few years and suffered immensely from sleep paralysis and seeing dark cloaked figures staring at me from the foot of the bed...even in full daylight. I would look into "The Genisis 6 conspiracy" and it will clear up a lot of what UFO's are. Look guys, The Bible isnt the only old religion, and all religions keep saying the same thing. Love this interview! I've had people tell me that they've seen UFOs, standing right next to me, and I couldn't see it. Please know, that I was looking, right where they were pointing, while they could still see it, and I could see nothing. I believe that UFOs are either top secret US military tech or demonic. When one person, who is not born-again, could see a UFO, yet I could not, tells me that this is definitely spiritual. I'm not someone who demonizes science either, quite the opposite. I have a deep love and admiration for physics and astronomy, but I am in school earning my Masters in Christian Apologetics. I believe that people have these encounters, but this is a part of the Great Deception. What better way for the the antichrist to deceive a vast portion of the earth's population than to mascarade himself as an "alien?"

I’m from southeast Alaska.. In 2014 my village kept experiencing power outages every night with no explanation and people were seeing flying objects that were shinning big spotlights into trees..I saw a few myself it was extremely spooky.. Later on in life A friend of mine became special forces and he told me there’s a secret base near the island where I lived..I think all the sightings and power outages were our military practicing with new technology..The ufo I saw was a typical ufo 🛸 it wasn’t moving at all it was hovering above a small island before vanishing..I saw it again about 40 mins later hovering over a different island.. I'm not involved with the occult, but I and three of my children, have seen a UFO, up close. It was the humming sound that took us outside to see what it was. It was about the size of a football field, about eighty feet above us, and was oval in shape with blinking lights underneath it. It moved slowly to an open field, changed to a 45° angle and took off faster than seemed less than an instant! Within five minutes we had two fighter jets come flying over our house, which I believe were investigating the UFO. I don't know if they are demons or aliens, but I do know there are unidentified flying objects.

My late great great grandpa, who's a Russian, he usually talked about demons and all. He's kind of mystical kind of guy. What types of there are. He once mentioned that demons have 3 types; huge; hairy with wings like a monster, shape shifters into fierce animals and the other is an advance being who always 'travels a lot with their vehicle.' Myself and two buddies saw three UFOs while hunting one night in south Texas about 7 years ago… We all three saw them, the maneuvers they were doing I couldn’t explain since I had never seen something like it before and then all of a sudden all three shot off super fast into space… it was UNREAL!!!! From a website entitled the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) they have articles on Dr. Ross. Although he is a believer in Christ, he believes the cosmos is billions of years old. ICR believes that the universe is young like I do so there is the difference between Dr. Ross ministry and the young earth organization. I may add whether one believes in an old or young earth, it doesn't matter to our salvation.

Fallen Angels and nephilim are in the Bible. But there is not a lot of mainstream church teaching on it. So we get labelled as 'new age' for mentioning it.

I remember watching a documentary on the Discovery Channel, and they did a study on how many reports of ufo "alien" direct encounters were experienced in New York City. There were at the time 8 million encounter reports per year in a city that never sleeps. My conclusion after watching and reading so many documentaries and books about the subject since the 1970s, was that the "aliens" had to be interdimensional beings. It is directly related to the occult as the gentleman claims here. Also, biblical contacts with angels are often heralded by " trumpet " of God. This trumpet of God seems to be a cosmic impact that would open a door briefly between the worlds of men and supernatural beings. Ancient writings imply as such. In Revelations, a giant falling star that falls to earth opens up a "bottomless pit", a wormhole, in the earth that releases demonic beings onto earth. This phenomenon of creating wormholes is well understood and can be done with high energy concentration of multiple lasers. I forget the physics terminology for this effect... Anyway, very interesting subject.
You must realise that half of New Yorkers are mentally challenged and so UFO reports from them can be dismissed.

As much as I like Dr Ross, I think he’s being a bit dismissive concerning our government (ie, the military industrial complex) and their ability to hide these objects from the general public. They operate in darkness and deal with security issues with lethal force. As far as Grusch, I don’t believe a word he says.
I was raised as a catholic have a deep belief in my faith, and I have witnessed two ufos in my time hunting and fishing. I know my second experience left me feeling very uneasy and a sense of dread. I think the more and more information gets released the more we will have to change how we want to understand things.
For you as a Catholic is more important to read and understand Bible rather then to have faith in a Catholic system which is far from Bible.

Most Roman Catholic beliefs and practices regarding Mary are completely absent from the Bible.
The Lord’s Supper being a consumption of the literal body and blood of Jesus is not taught in the Bible.
Roman Catholicism has “saints” one can pray to in order to gain a particular blessing. Nowhere is even a hint of this taught in Scripture.
The idea that the Roman bishop is the vicar of Christ, the supreme leader of the Christian Church, is utterly foreign to the Word of God.
The Catholic Church disguises its pagan beliefs under layers of complicated theology and church tradition. Recognizing that many of its beliefs and practices are utterly foreign to Scripture, the Catholic Church is forced to deny the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.
I am a Catholic as well but i don't have a closed mind to think there are not ETs out there some where or maybe hiding on Earth some where. Dr Ross seems to have a closed mind if he thinks it's Demons lol. We are not alone in the Universe as there more Planets out there than grains of sand on every Beach on Earth.
