@@tc238 from gerakan era this shit news is going to public for the vote… before LGE first time took pg CM place also mentioned it before. Whose the liar?
@@tc238this shit propaganda started from Gerakan era until now, even before LGE took the office in pg. not even talk about wawasan 2020 there will be flying cars. Go ask Khor Tsu Koon and Mahathir
Before LGE became pg CM for first time, this was one of the promises. That was 16yrs ago. This LRT propaganda was started during Khor Tsu Koon era, until now not even single pillar was constructed. All no action, talk only. The only development that penangites think of is during Lim Chong Eu era
I'm afraid after billions of money been spent, Penangites still prefer cars and motorcycles because lack of connecting feeder buses , feeder bus trip frequencies disrupted due to congestion etc. Poor ridership, most passengers are foreign workers and senior citizens. High maintenance cost, payback period needs many years, a big financial burden. BRT is much much cheaper.
When there is no subsidy for petrol you will see many people will opt for taking LRT. Don't be shortsighted. KL people also think like you when LRT first kick started.
KL is big, Penang is small, distances to and fro are not very far. For people who will be entitled for petrol subsidy, prefer travel by own transport. Convenience matters. My point is elevated BRT is more viable and better option. @@stmpo5595
Trackless tram costing only a few millions, not billions. Trying to mortgage our future. Dont make sense. Ugly and useless. KL LRT still operating at a loss

I believe this time our Penang LRT dream will come true 😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂

They should opt for BRT which is very much cheaper to construct and to maintain.
But the problem is road space, BRT still occupies the road lane
BRT is of elevated structured. Xiamen Island in China....
Elevated Bus Rail Transit like Xiamen China and other places, a lot cheaper in cost and faster to build.
@@HKspurs10 BRT like in Subang mah..elevated structured similar to LRT but using buses instead of train.
@@HKspurs10 Don't u know that BRT is also of elevated structured like LRT except the rails?

You are adding a tram on the narrow and congested road in Penang. Will that alleviate traffic congestion?
LRT is live to regret.
Talk only no results.
DAP no longer listen to people. Arrogant
Need a tram system, not lrt
