He insulting Black female journalists, he lied about jobs, Vice President Kamala Harris' ethnicity, her law degree and hurled a plethora of other false and misleading statements.
Roland Martin slammed NABJ for hosting the Liar-in-Chief saying the organization embarrassed itself by giving Trump a platform to disrespect not only Black journalist but also the African American community as a whole.

His response, to attack, tries to frame it as a leading question by communicating sanctimonious disgruntlement and "How dare you" language.
This was probably one of the easiest things to turn around: "Yes, I did say such things, but I've since reflected and recognized how horrible they are to say. I spent my presidency trying to change my viewpoints and make amends for that." Bang. Boom. Even if he didn't mean it or is a flat out lie (which it would be), that's easy spin.
