- Here is my unboxing and plans for the @SITKAGear Rover Down Jacket. I believe this jacket from the Everyday line is really meant to be in the woods.

Great content - thanks for doing these. I appreciate how you keep it simple and straightforward. BTW Your "one system for all" video helped me a ton and does great.
Love the diversity of reviews thanks for another great vid 👌
Another great and informative video. Keep pumping them out!
Kawonu makes some sick stuff! Appreciate the reviews my guy!
great video as always! thanks!
Another great video !!!
Love the reviews man!
Just got the jacket and the video is spot on. 5'10" 200lbs XL fits perfect
I got this in red last winter. Fits great and is very warm. I got it for watching football games and running around.
I'm 6'1" and 170 lbs. Large fits great.
Was in Dallas for the Safari Club convention and decided to stop by their new store after the show. Being from Hawaii and heading to Colorado Springs which the Arctic blast in full effect and being minus 6. Decided to purchase the Rover jackets on sale for the whole family. I’m glad we did and it kept us warm with base layers. If you can find this jacket be sure to buy it and this is coming from a Kuiu guy😜
Great info. thanks.
Looks like a great everyday jacket
Good stuff!
I'm so bummed I missed out on this one, went to order it last week and found. It was on sale and completely sold out in my size for all colors! Should have snagged it sooner
Thanks for the great review. On my last Military deployment, I bought some Sitka, First Lite, and Kuiu clothing. I feel Sitka is the best my favorite everyday hunter clothing. I have never had any complaints about my Sitka jackets, the zippers are great, the jackets are quiet, the pockets are well thought out, they fit normally and they last. First Lite cannot match, in my opinion for durability and quality, Kuiu is for me too tailored, it feels like I put it in the dryer and it shrunk all around in size. I am an average 5-11 200 lb guy and their XL down vest reminds me of a flotation device every time I put it on, and the pockets and zippers are crazy small and weirdly placed and not ergonomic at all. Kuiu is also loud as hell. GO SITKA. My Sitka Berber fleece outfit ( I forget what it is called) has done fantastic for me this hunting season so far. I would not get crazy about the size issue unless you are heavy into layering. My XL jackets fit me great, I have a lot of room to move and they cover below the waist. GO with Sitka, you will not be disappointed. They are easy five year jackets if not longer.
I'm very anxiously waiting on your results because I'm thinking of buying this as an everyday coat
Sitka gear head checking in 🤘🏽
Great information
Love your videos. Have you seen the major update to the grindstone vest? Curious if you are planning on reviewing new vs old version similar to the gradient pants review (which was very helpful)
I believe the everyday jackets run true to size or maybe a tad snug. The dry creek looks like a good option aswell.
Enjoy all the videos man. Any insight on the Kelvin aerolite jacket?
best on youtube
I’ve really been looking at buying this jacket for whitetail sits and I’m not sure if I want to go with this or the kelvin models
Would be helpful if you compared it to the Kelvin models
Could you do the new jet stream vs the stratus for whitetail? If you have them! Thanks man
Can you do a review with the Kelvin jackets with the rover down jacket?
Legggoooo
How does this jacket compare to the Kelvin lite ??
How does this compare to Kelvin Aerolite?
Can you do a review over the grindstone work jacket, after putting it through some heavy use? I’m blue collar (apprentice electrician), spend a lot of time outside during the winter months and last year I was so layered up at times I couldn’t move. Was wondering how durable the grindstone was, because if it’s not all that durable, then a carhart jacket would be a better route
Patagonia makes nice work wear
Grindstone is an absolute workhorse. Little stiff to begin with but will break in.
I have one of these, worst jacket I have owned, fell apart after a year and Sitka did nothing to help. Big Sitka gear fan for hunting gear, but this jacket is horrendous
Rated low on there site too
What happened to it? What did Sitka say?
@@BetweentheCheeks00 The seams burst and the logos fell off. They said it was wear and tear. Also, the fit was slim, not loose at all. Similar to there Kelvin Aerolite coat thats designed to be layered, except this isn't a layering coat IMO
Hopefully mine doesn’t fall apart. The reviews on Sitka’s site are 4.3 stars (out of 5) with 46 reviews, pretty high.
Anyway, you were the winner of the Kawonu Hat.
I’ll message you in the back end of the channel for your contact info.
