    I really like them but the toe box is a bit too narrow for me, I’m considering selling mine 😢

    My feet were soaking wet after walking through long grass for 15mins, I don't think they deserve the WR in the description.

    I WISH these had worked for me. I just could not get the sizing right to save my life 😭

      I do think Vivo sizing is a bit quirky...I definitely had to size way down.

    Are the beige a rare color or just white after dirt? They look amazing and I don’t see the teal on them

      There's just a touch of teal and orange on the lace loops and logo! You don't find a lot of light-colored hiking books, for sure.

    In my motus flex Vivos I normally wear 8.5 US, I got a 7 & they’re a perfect fit. I’ve heard vivos run really big & it’s definitely true. So for everyone definitely size down, no question.

    they look awesome, but their sizing is waaaay off. i now sent back 2 pairs and will test another one in hopes they will fit. besides that they make a bery annoying flopping sound while walking and i had zero grip inside the shoe. as soon as it went downhill my feet slid forward (but i guess that was because they were too large)

      I find a number of barefoot brands run a bit large. Both Josh and I wear a smaller size than "usual" in Vivos, though, for sure.

    Quality is fine but the water resistance is a joke. Wear sealskinz if you’re doing serious hiking. For dry weather they’re fine. I have a longer hike with heavy backpacking to base my comment on.

      We have started finding that they're not as water resistant as they were when brand new. Stay tuned for an updated video!

      @@TerradriftSounds great! Always appreciated with follow up videos. I don’t know what to do with my pair now because I have two pairs with leather, don’t remember their names, and they’ve been with me through thick and thin. I guess they will be in the future too. Did a five day hike in one of them last year without issues.

    Ok let's get one thing straight, because this is critical. I have switched to 100% barefoot 5 years ago. For any hike with over 10% of your body weight on your back, ALL barefoot shoes are a recipe for trouble. For hikes with some weight on your back extending longer than a day, it's a recipe for disaster.
    I'll stfu about the water resistance claims

    • @Terradrift
      @Terradrift  Месяц назад +4

      That really depends on your foot and ankle strength and general shoe preferences. I've backpacked for multiple days in barefoot shoes plenty of times, though I do pack ultralight with my pack near 10%-15% of my body weight. For most of human history all shoes were barefoot shoes and that didn't stop anyone from traveling long distances carrying heavy things! But yes, when transitioning, you should be careful and approach backpacking in them with caution.

      Nah your feet are just weak and you're being loud about it. I do just fine with any load.
