    I am thinking about trading in my 3 for a Y, primarily for more dog room, but after seeing your video, I've changed my mind. I use a rear seat hammock in my 3 and it works fine. I recommend loosening the straps so the hammock isn't suspended and moving - it should lie as flat as possible on the seats. Your dog will lay down then.

    • @TeslaHo

    One final option.....front passenger seat :-) I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback, 85lbs, and thinking about a Y, as we do a lot of hiking/biking trips, nd there are times I want to leave her in the vehicle and do something else, so "pet mode" is a huge draw for me/her.

    • @TeslaHo
      @TeslaHo  2 года назад

      Very cute dogs! I can see leaving them in the front would be good for dog mode but I can see some concerns people may have with airbags being deployed in a accident. Perhaps a proper dog belt harness could help tho. Pet mode is of the best things. I go shopping twice a week and its usually after a dog walk. Saves me from wasting time and energy dropping off Neo first. Cheers!

    Nice video and cute doggo! Which of the three ways do you prefer?
    For the first method, at 02:25 you mentioned the snap buckle doesn't bother passengers sitting in the back seats but they look like they protrude out too much. A suggestion is to perhaps buy some small pillows (they fit in place with an elastic strap) to cover up the protruding buckles? I use them in my Model S.
