A Nian didn't understand him and he explained that since there was nos destiny between them, then there is no use to be indebted and it's better to do as they never know each other. I cried so much. It was doomed to be a tragedy with their respective backgrounds. But really, Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao didn't help each other. Too many misunderstandings. Xiao Yao : instead of just giving hint that she was ready to kiss him in the sea, maybe XY should have directly kissed him. Still, I can understand how traumatized she was about being abandoned, she was not ready to just lose herself in love. Xiang Liu : instead of making allusions like "if I didn't follow this path, I wouldn't have met someone" and this letting XY think that he referred to his adoptive father, he should have corrected her. But well, I can't blame him for his noble values. It's so easy for me to judge, living in XXI century, in a peaceful country. But faced to his kind of situation, what kind of value shall I stand for? Tushan Jing was a good man but he was burdened by too much responsibility, he was too nice to go against everyone for her. Xiangliu is different, he can burn the world for her..that is why it would be in the best interest for everyone if she chooses Xiangliu.
I have never wanted the lead actress to end up with all three men😂 so bad. I love tushang jing, the king is also good and xiangluei is also good... i think the king and kiang lu sacrificed more then thusnag jing..
That's it, with TJing she becomes a real woman, she finds herself becomes what she always wished to be but was never allowed : protected, cherished, prioritized, loved genuinely, respected and somehow understood. She and Jing are a perfect match if you ask me, they both had no experience in a romantic relationship, they both never fell in love, they share the same high statue of royalty, both are same kind (except for Xiao for being half demon) so the ground was prepared for both to choose each other, unlike when she was a low goddess doctor in the village it was impossible to be together, at that time it was a perfect timing to choose XL unstead, but once becoming Haowling princess she no longer is compatible with XL.

Xiang Liu gave her the most selfless love but she didn't deserve him... she ended up choosing the Tushan jing . .but for me among all the male leads Tushan Jing was the least likable cuz he is neither desicive nor can keep his promises..he seems unreliable...even Xuan was better than him tbh at least he had a goal .. where as Tj is a boring character
