It's so funny you say that. The U turn rules in Australia and the United States are different. In the US, you can do a U turn unless a sign prohibits it. In Australia, it's prohibited unless a sign permits it. I apologize to the country/continent of Australia and all the people who live there for my egregious act. Haha.
