We are Moon and Reina, the Slothy Nomads. We live part of the year in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. We love to travel and enjoy seeing things off the beaten path. The food, people, and culture is what we are looking for when we get to a place.
Glacier National Park. Two Medicine Entrance to Two Medicine Lake (Round Trip) - Dashcam! No Audio.
I broke up a seven hour day of driving around Glacier National Park into manageable videos. This one is a little weird. It's from the Two Medicine Entrance to Two Medicine Lake and a return trip to the entrance. Beautiful, beautiful place.
Enjoy!

Used to summer there every year with my ex-wife, kids, and friends. We stayed a week every year and had a blast. That water is some of, if not the, clearest water in the world. My daughter and I would jump from a cliff (known for cliff jumping) into deep clear water.
This video doesn't take me to the airport. That's okay I can figure it out. Turn off to my house on a 93 and 58 mile marker. ADOT does not know how to fix these roads right. I don't Gamble in Vegas I don't want to come home broke. Just like Laughlin.
Wtf is this dumb shit?
This is my home, but you make the journey relaxing and mesmerizing.
I went on this train 12 years ago, end of September. It was a nice trip.🙂

Wonderful video, thank you so much. The red building that had Antiques on it was my mother's Antique store called Lonesome Dove, behind that building should have been an old house, that was also hers. My mother died in 2004 suddenly, I never went back, and never knew what happen to her store as she was remarried and him and I stopped speaking, but I know she loved her Antique store and would have loved the fact that you had included it in your video, Thank you so much!
It was such an interesting little town. We enjoyed it. I'm glad that you got something out of our video. Thanks for the comments!!!
Hi. New to ARV. Wish we found it sooner. Love your page. Thanks for sharing. Did you find reduced air fares for vets? Ty
Believe it or not, we don't fly very much. We may fly across the Atlantic once a year or so but we typically take a transatlantic cruise back to the United States. This fall, we are trying the Space A system to Europe and returning via a transatlantic cruise. And when we fly in the continental US, we use Southwest Airlines points from a credit card.
is the price per person and if not what is the max i can bring
The price is for the room. And there are so many different places, I would recommend contacting each resort. For example, we stay at the Grandview in Las Vegas. They have a suite that sleeps four and they have a suite that sleeps eight. I'm not sure the max occupancy.
Great video. Do you have to pay for snorkelling and diving. What was included for the night of your stay (equipment for snorkelling, wet suit?)
The room is all you get. There are some restaurants and other stores on the island. Also, we took our snorkeling gear but they had a lot for rent. My wife rented a stinger suit, which prevents jellyfish stings.
That bus driver is hilarious 😂
Looking forward to the vacation in August
Once I get to 87, I feel like I belong there ❤ can’t wait to go this summer
I've read where I40 is really bad between ABQ and Flagstaff. Is that true? we're headed out there from Texas in a couple weeks
When you say "really bad" are you talking about road conditions? If so, it's not too bad. There are a couple of patches between the Texas state line and Albuquerque that have some potholes. Probably from snowmelt and last time we went there a couple of weeks ago they were doing some repairs. As far as Abq to Flagstaff, I don't believe it's that bad. I'll give an update later in the week because we will be driving that stretch.
@@SlothyNomads yes. Sorry i wasn’t more clear. I have read where some people say the interstate isnt maintained well and lots of holes and such and causes damage to cars. Was curious if you experienced any of that but it doesn’t sound too bad from your comment
@@randydye4842 There are a couple of spots on I-40 but overall it's not in that bad of shape. I'll let you know what's up between here (Abq) and the AZ state line soon! Have a great rest of your week!
@@SlothyNomads thank you. Safe travels
Good job. I leave the sound in, but your way with no sound is also good.
Nice
i see they finally finished paving by howard pane, lord that took forever
Have any of the Resorts asked you to present any military verifification? I heard they didn't, but wanted to make sure. I don't think the Resorts know who the reservation was booked through.
My ID has been checked each time and I present my retired military ID. I don't believe they verify military service but they do make sure the name on the reservation (the veteran's) is who is there. The military service verification is done by AFV Club.
How much did it cost for them to drive you around most of the town?
I don't exactly remember but I think it was around $10 USD or 180 pesos.
@@SlothyNomads Thank you so much
Awesome. Especially between Gallup and Dove Creek.
Thank you for your video. Good to know it’s legit. Question: when you book through AFVC, do you usually confirm the booking with a direct call to the resort? I don’t want to arrive at the hotel only to learn there is no booking for me.
Great question. When we first started booking through AFV Club, I would reach out to the resort and confirm the booking. After a few times of doing that, I felt confident it was a solid process so I stopped. There have been a couple of instances where they have to go look at another screen or something but we have never been turned away and always had a booking.
Thank you sir
I'm working on a new 2024 episode about the AFVClub. Stay tuned. Thanks for the comment!
Awesome video! I'm getting ready to visit Green Island for the first time toward the end of the year. I have a couple questions if you don't mind. Did you see a ton of sharks(saw the one in the video) snorkeling off the beach? And what were the food options like there? Don't see much in my research and reviews are kind of poor on the island from what I've read. Just curious to your experience, thanks!
There weren't a ton of sharks when we were there. The reason there were a lot of sharks at that time was they were feeding the fish off the pier. As far as the food, it wasn't the greatest that we remember. But we were staying there so we only had a few options. I don't remember it being bad but it wasn't the best.
@@SlothyNomads Ah that makes sense with the feeding. Yeah I opted to stay for two nights, so I was wondering how challenging the food situation would be. Thank you so much for the quick response!
Long ago memories of that drive between Salt Lake and Reno....
That part of the country is pretty desolate but beautiful in it's own way! Thanks for the comment!
Wells Nevada is on an Indian burial ground.Alot of people get sick and pass away there for no apparent reason. It's really scary. So glad I moved away.
That's really cool! I'd be nervous as ****.
I've been flying for a few years. I'm pretty used to flying some distance. Even at night!
Film yourself doing an illegal U turn at the lights and post it on social media. 🤣🤣
It's so funny you say that. The U turn rules in Australia and the United States are different. In the US, you can do a U turn unless a sign prohibits it. In Australia, it's prohibited unless a sign permits it. I apologize to the country/continent of Australia and all the people who live there for my egregious act. Haha.
@@SlothyNomads I happen to actually live there, well about 30 minutes drive from there, it's funny to realise the different rules around the world.
@@MikesManCave It's a beautiful part of the world! We absolutely loved our time in Australia. We definitely have to get back one day!!!
@@MikesManCave You have an interesting channel. Subscribed!!!

Apologies. I'm a rookie. Still learning.
Lots of desolation out there.
That is correct. There are not that many people living between Moab and Nevada. Thanks for the comments!
Think you could reach the top of the mountains? Come on man, I dare you to try. 😁
The downside of only having three batteries in a day of travel from Moab to Wells, Nevada is I have to limit my flying time. Anyhoo, I don’t think they would’ve reached it.
Qué bonita Ciudad gracias por compartir este bonito recorrido de la Ciudad👍🙏
Muchas Gracias!
Seabrook was raped. Taking down the law building, whataburger, neptunes subs, the snowcone spot, pine gully will probably never get rebuilt. They raped our little town for more highway space. It doesn’t feel the same. No more seagull sounds in the seafood isle in Kroger. No more kids running around in El Jardin forgetting phones and video games. Olympia, the original seabrook. It’s all gone. A shell of its former self. Fuck capitalist America. R.I.P seabrook
