    Since your dashcam has a running timestamp on it, you should make a note in the description of what time zone it’s set for. It would certainly cut down any confusion on if the time stamp is correct to the place you’re driving through, since you cross time zones in some of your videos, like this one.

    Another reason people crowd the front is that the airlines fail to be consistent with their carry-on policy. Working around the jetway, I have watched as the people in the front 90% take almost anything they want on board. Then the final 10% get screwed because the bins have filled up so fast with oversized or over-limit bags and the crew just starts checking every single item right at the aircraft door.

  • @ChronicViper
    @ChronicViper Месяц назад

    I think you hit a lot of the reasons. A few more. The PA system is terrible so people hang around to hear snd see what group is boarding. And also when nearby gates are boarding simultaneously you might hear their group over your because the OA system is bad. You hear the group but not the gate/destination.

  • @matthewgruba8040
    @matthewgruba8040 Месяц назад

    Those few times I have travelled by plane, I get to the gate early, find somewhere comfy to read a book, and wait until the boarding call. I never took any carryon luggage I couldn't shove under my seat, (I love the window seat, so overhead is a pain to access, especially on a widebody.) The best thing about going in late, is if there are any spare seats, it is easier to negotiate a comfortable swap. I never apologised for climbing over other passengers to my seat, and certainly affirmed my window seat booking if they tried it on. Same at the end of the flight, with a bulky checked bag, it was usually put aside to be directly picked up, rather than going onto the carousel, so I get off the plane, go and take a dump in a real toilet, and grab my bag. Usually at this point, cab ranks have recovered from the surge, and other PT is less crowded. Happy days.

  • @Truelib99Hobbes
    @Truelib99Hobbes Месяц назад

    It’s because gates are very badly designed. There is no clear place to line up nor is there enough seating for all the passengers. One more example of airlines blaming customers because they have cheaped out.

      I agree with David. I travel with a group to Europe yearly and carry one backpack for the entire trip. If that were to be lost, then I would be screwed. On every single trip, the group has to go to the lost luggage counter and fill out the paperwork for the lost luggage from a few people in the group. Plus, there are times when people carry something critical to the trip, like specialized equipment or simply something that cannot be replaced.
