Yakuza is one of those series that you simply DO NOT DUB INTO ANY OTHER LANGUAGE! I grew up with this series back in the PS2 era and my ears bleed when I hear the characters speak in English. This franchise is meant to be heard in Japanese.
Yeah i never heard daigo's eng voice in this game but he was great in 7 so why did they change to this new actor? this guy doesn't fit daigo at all. way too deep.
@@Jonathan221 yeah that's fair enough especially for this game. I do like ichiban's eng voice a lot so I ended up having the eng dub on in Hawaii and the jpn va on in kiryu's chapters in Japan. Worked out pretty well for the most part lol
People can have their own opinions and some people might like the dub! I’m sure there’s videos of this with the Japanese dub on here, that’s the beauty of the internet!
I’m playing in English for streams, I’m used to the Japanese voice acting. Majimas Japanese voice is much better. The pitch is perfect. It took me a long time to get used to this.
