if you watch whole performance, there are slow parts that i put in also... it's a contest, so you need to highlight the parts that have an UMPH factor to it... dapat din hindi one pace lang... dapat dynamic if not you'll just end up boring the audience... suffice it to say, i succeeded in my task and ended up winning the grand price...

dude if i've learned something by listening to music all my life, it's that the music that people do now has been influenced by the music from the past and it's cyclical. so when you say that i imitated a particular pattern, this is what i have to say, who hasn't? even jazz musicians do it. it's a way of celebrating the past. looking at your videos, you have a lot of covers there and even lip-syncing to a josef poolpo audio. isn't that worse? at least i did covers that i studied by my own.
hmmm... kanino ko ginaya? i've been doing the harmonica thing since 2004 and have been beatboxing since 2003... more than that check the date when this video was posted and try to see if you can find videos from the philippines that have beatboxing plus harmonica playing in it dated BEFORE this video... BE A RESPONSIBLE CRITIC AND DO YOUR RESEARCH.
bro, changing the tempo is not a weakness... doing it at the same is kinda boring and lacks the dynamics that people are expecting in a performance... and given the time which is approx 10 mins, you can do everything fully... what you have to do is showcase the best bits... i appreciate your criticism but insofar as your comment is concerned, i don't think changing tempo within a set isn't a problem at all...
ah ok... now what does that have to do with the performance? what i find surprising is that all the people who posted senseless ignorant things are pinoys... i find this very saddening... it would've been better people who said those things were from other countries. don't get me wrong i'm not brought down by it... nakakapanghinayang lang...
