It still continues to amaze me how much of the ocean we have yet to explore. Awesome video!

So much. Every time we dive, we see something no one's ever seen before.

What makes it so eerie down there is how it is all so blue-y until you get up close and shine some light on the structures and then you see the beautiful colours.

Aw, thank you so much! We found it after thinking about how Florence might have affected the newly discovered reef off the coast of the Carolinas. Thank you so much, we hope to have lots more coming soon!

You people are awesome. I don't think any University in India is doing anything near to it. You're so advanced in thoughts and action !! No doubt you're leading.

How is mesophotic related to mesopalagic? Also would this be viewable in a bathyscaphe and would thus be less reliant on fit healthy scientists who can dive to these dangerous depths

How can we know what percentage of the ocean’s species are found in the mesophotic reefs if we don’t know how many species are in the reefs or in the oceans?

Guys: keep in mind that diving is supposed to be fun.
Is this a true Detective season II episode? In nearly 4 minutes I don't see anyone smiling. What's wrong with your filmmaker?

Diving is fun, but they are techdivers, this is their job, and they are concerned about this, you don't have to be always smiling..
