Oh, I just want to hug both those good bois! This was so wonderful to watch. At first, Sterling was not at all happy about the new addition and, just like human toddlers, figured that if he ignored Colin, he would just disappear. The day he decided that Colin needed a big brother to overcome his fear of the stairs was the turning point. Now, Sterling is showing Colin how to be a good dog for his humans. What more could you ask for? Oh, and I love their names. So very proper and serious, and says that they are FAMILY, not just pets to be given strange names like "Snookums" or "Goober" or other names unbefitting an essential family member.🥰🥰🥰

Our older dog did this too when we got her puppy sister. she showed her how to come down the stairs and also brought her a treat and dropped it down in front of her and of course taught her all her bad behaviors too lol.

OMG I have been looking for this dog for a couple of years. I followed them on FB for ages and then suddenly my FB page erased them and I couldn't find them again. I LOVE these dogs and the owner is a total hoot. Thanks for posting.
I loved them I find Golden Retrievers so precious, they are very loving, protective and I have noticed that they know how to act, very intelligent dogs. Incredible dogs. They are one of the breeds on top of my list that I would love to have. I also find them cute, very innocent and just perfect. Lots of Love for them and all the Golden Retrievers of the world! Он спас котенка кошечку которая теперь живет с нами , она тоже оказалась очень мудрая...у нас две собаки и вот кошечка в первый же день подружилась с ними...они очень дружны между собой , когда мы идем с собаками на прогулку то и кошечка идет вместе с нами 😊

It’s great to see them bond. I think the “ignoring” period was more about Sterling setting boundaries and establishing his position over Colin. Once Colin seemed to accept and respect it Sterling came around. They’re a great little family. ❤️🐕
