Reminds me of the sedona engine but I've never seen one stripped this far down. So I can't remember seeing the "pipe" between the 2 sides of the engine there. The kia version had junk cream/amber plastic chain guides that kept breaking off.

Thamk you, i did the same and after few miles the chain went of and behin the pieces attached to the camshafts what could be done wrong?
that's the same for a kia sorento 2011 right
I notice that there are two holes for small chain guides between the CVVTS where the valve cover meets. Are two short chain guides supposed to be attached here? My Kia also has these holes for the guides but when I opened the valve cover, there were no guides attached.
I can give you an answer if you tell me the model and model of the vehicle.
@@TV-uq6uj 2009 Kia Borrego. 3.8 V6. I installed new chains, tensioners, and guides (including the two small ones), intake and exhaust OCV's, plugs, coils, and belt. It runs great but still throwing P0018 after a few trips. Either CVVT or sensors. Thanks

Does the 2010 gen coupe have a timing belt or chain?
Chain. The G6DK and the newer G6DA is literally the same engine except the DA has a different fuel system.

The format of gdi and mpi is different.
And it depends on the model year.
Engine removal is nessesary ?
3.8 Lightweight pistons were used.
Breakage of the piston land portion may occur.
How much would the timing change kit cost ?
I picked up a complete chain kit w/ water and oil pump from a CNSmotors on ebay and used this video to install. I buy from them a lot and they haven't messed up yet. They sell Hyundai OEM parts. Hope this helps!
