I got a K&N for my C30 way back when I bought it. Really only noticed a slight turbo sound increase which is fun :) Then I later installed a 3.5 inch RamAir cone-filter, And it probably lost some low down torque, but it sounds great xD And it may or may not be fastened with zip-ties...
Doesnt make a huge difference except the response by the throttle, just like u Said. One thing i also noticed is, my car got a lil more torque bellow 3k rpms
Makes a slight different. You need a ecu tune and it would make about 30 to 40hp more. Now if you remove the cat but keep the muffler so it's not too loud you'll add another 30hp. Easy power
I’ll keep that in mind! I’d be a little concerned with adding that much power because of the mileage and this is one of the years that had an occasional issue with the engine block cracking lol maybe at some point I’ll try that though!
@JustGrant25 I don't think anything would go wrong as all you're doing is letting the engine breathes more. However if you do compression mods like turbo then yes problems. Go for it a Honda is a Honda and unkillable👍🏻
Removing the cat does not add a 30 hp. It’ll be more like 5-10 but without an actual tune, the car won’t make much of anything by removing that. For example, if he was to get a full cat back system, it would flow way better than the stock, but won’t make a lot of power because you’ll need a tune too get the potential of said upgrades
If I’m being honest I wouldn’t even bother trying too make power or upgrades too an R18. if you get yourself the 8th gen si then you’d really be talking.

That’s fair this is just what I have currently so I figure I may as well do what I can to it without spending a ton of money
It’s locked. 😂
You must think air fresheners make you more HP because you’ve got 20 of them 😂
Yessssir 🤣🤣 more smells = more power baaaby!!
