  • How To Get Generator Running After Sitting For Years: I had the opportunity to get this running for a friend of mine, as you can see it turned out very well, the only thing that I did not like is that someone had already been into to it, and sometimes that is not good, but the end result is that it is running, follow some simple steps and you will be fine,

    after finding no spark , first i would have put another good sparkplug in and checked for spark, if nothing then go onto the coil check. great tips so far Ron. my fuel is premix 50:1 it always looks like shit lol. even though its fresh fuel. great video

    When you said "the only thing that I did not like is that someone had already been into to it, and sometimes that is not good" I fully Agree with that I work on computers and feel strongly about true statement. Appreciate the video!

    Very helpful and I appreciate it but the little blasts of music were way too loud in between talking. Had to constantly adjust my radio up and down to hear you

    I have one that's been sitting for more than a year. I'm really desperate to fix it, I'll try cleaning it up superficially and see how it goes. For sure I'll need to change the fuel, although it doesn't really smell. Great video.

      Hello sir ,
      What happened did you fix it?
      I'm really looking forward to know?

      @@omaribrahim8538 Hi Omar, I tried by just applying carb cleaner from the outside (without changing the old fuel) and it starts but stops if I stop applying the carb cleaner. I'll need to clean up the fuel lines and change the fuel. I'll let you know once it starts running nicely.

      sounds like its all good? do you have compression? you need fuel spark and compression if you got them, then the only thing I can think is the timing?

    • @brendasoer5507
      @brendasoer5507 Год назад

      the plug on the left is the original one and the one on the right is a new one...
      I guess what has me nervous...I won`t be changing the female end that goes into the switching box in the garage that powers up to the house...can I change one end of plug and not the other ?
