Looks and sounds like an exciting project. Something that I'd love to get involved with. I can only but dream. Like Alan Rolph, I'd like to have seen plans of what they're trying to achieve, an envisaged vision of what the field could look like when finished.
There are plans available, I believe on the National Park planning portal. Sadly, I feel that this very worthwhile project is just to add a little counterbalance to the incredible destruction and permanent damage that they will do by building a new path on the other side of this reserve. It can be improved without causing such damage.
Guess this will really show how managing land for all wildlife can make a huge difference to an otherwise rather barren & unproductive area, eventually enabling human visitors to see the wildlife in their natural habitat hopefully.

I would like to have seen plans of what they are aiming to achieve on that land. I presume there is a master plan with drawings.
