Thank you and welcome to the channel it's a mixture of all things custom but mainly airbrushing all the best with your journey if you ever need any help just drop me a message rob
Thanks for the video. One question though: don't you get any problems (leaks/bubbling in the cup) with just screwing the nozzle tip back in "raw"? By this, I mean without any sealant like beeswax or threadlocker. The nozzle tip doesn't seem to have an o-ring (teflon or rubber), so the contact is just metal-on-metal. Is that enough to make it airtight?
@@dredfxcustompaint well he's a fellow painter and always wanted to have a go but never did he said he had no artist flair but I've told him there are tools and stencils to help the novice along so hopefully another student bro 😁😁😁
Done that and it has cured the bubbling problem. Also drained air from filter and tank on compressor. The only problem now is that I am getting paint as soon as I press for air.
Thanks Rob. The biggest problem I have at the moment is my needle caking up at the nozzle. Been using your 2 tooth brush together idea. Any more tips for preventing drying on the needle
@@dredfxcustompaint thanks mate, been using an airbrush to paint some plastic kit models. Some acrylics are worse than others. Finding yellow and whites the worse. Do you think thinners/flow improver would help over water to thin?
@@Treeslayer82 hi Nick if you are using water based acrylics try a drop of flow improver and a drop of water 💧 that will help But remember turn your air down when your paint is thinner 👍
Ion do you have version 1 or 2...I've heard the nozzle it's very fragile. I had there version 1 but never liked it so much it clogged easy even with the .4 needle. They said v2 is much better now
@@Ohmz84 love the way its built it makes it seem it will last years. With high quality and very precise but it just didn't do it for me. I was hoping the V2 would be better now. I guess still doing the same thanks
@@Ohmz84 awesome! Sometimes times I wonder about exchanging mine for the ps771 creos although I don't regret doing so cause I like the ps 771. Maybe instead I should've updated mine with the version 2 set up
Thx! I just started using an airbrush and this is the most informative how-to I have watched. Subscribed ;)

When it comes to iwata brushes creos and h&s they all seem perfect at the front end the only one that I have that needs a seal is the badger sotar

Hi Rob need your help mate. For some reason I have started to get bubbling in the cup on both my Eclipse and H&S Evo 2024 even after cleaning them.

Thanks for the tips, I thought my needle was clean, but looks like I need some compound.
