Glad I'm On The Grid Minus 40 Last Night

On Dec 21st I uploaded a video showing where my fence casted the shadows at Solar Noon. Checked it again today at solar noon. The shadows retreat by about 3.27 inches per day.

Meanwhile, the UK is expecting to grind to a halt next week, as temperatures are forecast to drop to -10C in the north of Scotland, with a few inches of snow. If it reaches south of Birmingham, the news will be calling it "Snowmageddon," or some such tosh.
Still, gives us something to complain about. 😁
It's a cosy 22C in my flat, and the livin' is easy. No digging logs out from under snow piles for me.

Today I sat back reclined in my home theater chair watching my neighbour spend 6 hours tryna boost hi work van and two cars. I keep my heat at 21.5 C. Humidity at 15%
