Brilliant job Runge Cars...you truly are an "Artist, and an amazing car"very well thought out, I must say! Blessed with caring Hands and this is a fine example of Heart & Passion in one!!! Grateful, you are called to do this..man! We all had moments, scribbling on the kitchen table as a kid...drawing different components of cars etc. Thank you for sharing. I have couple drawings, I would like to share with you off RUclips. Shoot me a private message and i'll share them with you! Btw...the profile picture is the V10 HSV Honda super car. They've gone through many renderings, way before for today's 2018 new NSX. Thanks in advance.

Beautiful work, master craftsmanship. So much talent in Mr. Runge, please continue your work!
On the other side, too bad this masterpiece is ruined by bad blurry camera work. While Chris share beautiful passionate story about little imperfections on original cars, toward the end of the video, camera is constantly non-sharp, therefore we can only try to imagine passionate details Chris was talking about. This camera guy deserves VHS camera for his work (so he can continue to share his imperfections).

Awesome. Perhaps one day Porsche can commission a limited build of some of its classics like Jaguar and Austin Martin.

Used to modern cars and their safety aspects it looks totally weird to see so much driver exposed. It seems that a motorcycle is safer, because in case you can jump off of it ... 😂
But a great piece of work anyway!

Nice werk, Chris. Couple of things about the video. The two opening shots are too much. Choose one and get to the point. Get rid of the jump cuts that make Chris look spastic. A dissolve is a classic transition between two similar shots, or just use B-roll over the transition. Take out the light behind and to the right of Chris as it takes the eye away from the subject. Make sure the rack focus shots are smooth. Too many out-of-focus shots are annoying. The road shots at the end are jerky, probably shot at 24 frames, and you should zoom out with the car moving toward the viewer, holding the frame, a la Motorweek. Reshoot at 60p and add some slomo and maybe a drone follow shot. Of course, you'd have to get a better video camera to improve this video. Otherwise, nice work.

Your work is amazing but would be better made something your own brand and modern style. Respect from me. I am also car designer. And trying to make my car company.

I'll take 40s styling over modern style any day of the week. Luckily, there are many people, with diverse tastes. Good luck with your car brand.

***** To get the car registered to drive as a normal car would take about 3 years and cost you more as the car self.

Mike, are you using the D-Type with the UK numberplate then?
I am doing something similar in Spain, and our laws are stupidly restrictive to legalize modification in vehicles.
But I do not think I would be either allowed to drive the car here for years with an English numberplate.
