Also idk if many people will see this comment. This level is not a part of black heart or any other stories the characters belong to, this is simply an unrelated boss rush originally intended for a level contest.
If you are waiting on Black Heart I can give some clearance. He is taking a short break before resuming progress on the next level. Knowing ol666's work flow, I wouldn't expect another Black Heart level for atleast 4-5 months. Do not take this as a fact, it is simply an estimate and anything can increase or decrease the time taken to finish the level.
If you're itching to see parts of his levels before they come out, sometimes he streams in his discord :D
Even if he's not streaming, don't be scared to come in and join the conversation!!!

I slept through the premiere but I'm so happy this is out. I've been watching ol make this for months and he's seriously so happy to finally have this out.
Theory about the Mutant:
They’re a shapeshifter (obviously), but they don’t initially have control over their shifted form. At first, the doppelgänger will act exactly like their counterpart would, but the Mutant does eventually regain control.
_How long_ it takes to regain control is apparently determined by a specific factor; if the Mutant has an artifact related to the target they want to impersonate. Think about it:
King Crazy: Crown
Jestar: Heart Locket
Vikset: Amulet
Kitcat: Space Milk
The only one that doesn’t have an associated artifact is Pilate, but he’s an outlier in another sense; he took the longest to convert to the Mutant’s personality. This allows a correlation between these two factors: if the Mutant doesn’t have an object related to a person, when they shift into that person, it takes a longer time for the Mutant’s persona to overwrite the original mind.
There’s the anomaly of the Death Machine, of course; maybe it’s another form of the Mutant, maybe they “borrowed” it from a certain mechanic, or from the same source as the rest of their surprisingly large arsenal. We may never get to know.
Still, it’s an interesting theory.
Additionally, I don’t think the Mutant can hold a shifted form for very long, which explains their rage after overwriting Pilate, and disproves the theory of the Death Machine being another form.
Youre actually half correct,
Pilate's artifact is the heart in the background and the reason he transforms so late is because of the song not fitting for transformation in earlier parts.

These animations are so freaking smooth
Now THIS is something that outdos any PA or JSAB level I've ever seen. I keep rewatching it because it's just so satisfying. Simply amazing. The timing and the art and the game concepts and the dynamic warnings for the attacks. Can't describe it, just amazing. Gets that just epic feel all the best boss fights have.

@@ImEdited True but the evil faces the bosses have are also the same face the shadow thing has at the beginning of the level. Also when Kit Kat is defeated, and he's also the last boss, he turns into a shadowy silhouette and fades into the wall.

the best part of this level is when jestar got corrupted and used that mini gun thingy.
the way the characters and the objects moved was just above and beyond what i was expecting when i saw you post this i knew it was going to be good and good lord was i right. the first boss to your storyline was good and now past that you have gotten extremely better and funk hole just took a huge step up from medusa and now this just again took the possibilities of what can be done in project arrythmia. i hope you dont have to stop making these good levels anytime soon .

I.... just have no words... This level... Everything about it is SO AWESOME, THE DETAIL, AND FEATURING OTHER CHARACTERS ON A LEVEL YOU MADE, THAT IS EVEN BETTER! But dude, I see this as just a testament to how good you are at making levels, how nice you are to people like Crazy, Noodle, Akame Shy, everyone else in this level, and most importantly, a love for a great game, that game being PA, as you are one of if not the biggest behemoths in the PA community and despite PA having a, by other, similar games' standards, pitiful following, you still keep going, you help lay the foundation for PA just like other RUclipsrs who do PA content. Good job dude! Looking forward to your future projects in everything, especially PA! (But make sure you don't overwork yourself, as I'm sure it took a lot out of you to make this, just have a well deserved break)
