People don't realize what a properly geared and driven fbo mach can do with simple ported intakes and 98 cobra intake cams...real quick car love it lol. That shaker is the shit....coming from an 07 gt500 owner and former 03 mach owner...mine was fbo email Bama tune but stock gears I always wanted to do ported intake and cobra cams with 430 or 456 gears and a real tune it woulda been lowkey badass for a light modded na 4.6 from 2003 lol. Nice driving too love to see other manual owners bang gears like you're supposed to none of this granny shifting get ya smoked by autos shit driving lol.

@@Coyote_Machno you don't see alot of early gt500s. Mine has a gen3r on it pushing like 750/730 to the tire and 410 gear it's a monster. I run around on 325/50/15 et street r because nothing else will hold it on the street I gotta work on my suspension too got alot of new pieces just gotta get the stuff on the car it's put up at the moment. Love the old mod motors all of them 4.6 5.4 5.8 2v 3v 4v but my heart is with the 4vs. I had a fbo Mach like I said before and a 97 cobra back in the day and I just bought another 97 cobra it needs some maintenence and tlc it just has 91k though it's in decent shape I got it for 8k. Clear is peeling on the roof otherwise it looks pretty good for a 25+ year old car. I wanna do a setup like this. Find some ported c heads and ported short runner intake with my 97 cams and headers and full exhaust...first mod I'm doing is 456 gear soon as I get done catching up the maintenence. I had 410s in my old 97 and kicked myself for not going 456. Wont happen this time haha. Gonna drop 300+ lbs out of her too shell surprise some folks.
I just watched your recent video with the coyote swap Mach at the track and man that thing moves out but something about the sound of this 4.6 sounds much meaner
Man I love this ride! I’m currently doing the 96-98 Cobra cam swap myself. Question, did you degree the cams or drop them in dot/dot? Debating on whether it’s worth it to degree then to 110LC or drop them in as is.

I got a full bolt on boss 302 but am selling it to get out of debt and plan to buy another one down the road but since I’m in college I need to do the right thing so that’s why I’m selling but looking at stuff to do to the Mach 1 since my boss makes 430whp I’m just hoping I can make the Mach 1 almost as fast with a possible eaton swap or procharger. But wanted your opinion on what to do to at least give stock 5.0s a run for there money
BadBossRacing the mach 1 and na cobra are both underestimated they are pretty fast cars but them being smaller engines with no where near the tech the boss has it technically will never be as fast mod for mod as a boss but you’ll definitely hang in there, I’d do a terminator blower for the price but it’s all personal preference I’d still get a mach 1 tho ! Dope cars
