Rice ETR I have a 02 Gt with a T56 swap 6 speed with 4.10’s she pulls hard and with amazing torque.. but still high on the rpms hwy cruising . Do u think I will lose to much switching to 3.73?
I don't know what you're looking for, but my 4:10 runs about 3500k rpm at 90 mph in 5th gear. It's not much fun on the interstate. I only drive it around town, mostly, but the interstate sucks. Awesome get up and go, though. I don't know about a 4:30 or 4:56. That seems crazy. lol
@@stonemichaels1774 not crazy at all, only like 3350 @ 80 with 4.56, I had 4.10's in my old 2V and should have done 4.30, the cobra would benefit from 4.56 the most I'd think, being in the powerband constantly.
@@TheKoppenhaffer Well, it's whatever you like. lol. Mine just revs way too high for my taste on the interstate. I seriously feel like that top end is probably no more than 130 and would be about to blow up. lol.
@@stonemichaels1774 you should definitely have no problems with top end. If anything your top speed will increase due to torque amplification. Of course you'll be at a higher rpm so it's not like you can hold it at 150-160 for extended periods of time.
@@TheKoppenhaffer I don't see that happening with a 4:10. I have two Mystics and one is stock and runs about 1200-1500 rpms lower than the one with the gear. I'm no expert but I don't see any way in the world I'm hitting 150 with a 4:10. I raced my first 96 on the interstate and it was stock and it hit just over 150 and that was all it would do. I've never had 4:56 or 4:30 and have no intention of getting them, but some people love them. To each their own. As long as they're driving Mustangs. lol

What exhaust are you running?
It has a factory exhaust with the cats removed an welded in flow master 40s.

Some modulars were made in Windsor Ontario, but all Cobra engines were hand-built at the Romeo Michigan plant.
