The way Nicolas Jackson is so underrated by your own fans is ridiculous. Nowadays everyone wants a young player to be world class straight away. The lad hasn’t even been a professional footballer for long and is only 23 years old. First season in a new league 14 goals and 5 assist! Give the lad one more season, a year and let’s see if we can see progress, that’s how football works. He’ll probably lead the line next season and lets all get behind him instead this negativity against our own. And Fabrizo just said that all this nonsense about Jackson moving on is just a lot of rubbish and the board see him as an important player for the future. Anyone thinking we getting isak this summer is delusional , we didn’t wanna pay the wages for Williams but wanna buy isak who gonna cost upwards 120 mil
Would you take Isaak for 60M plus Gallagher and Broja or Chalobah?
I ain’t selling Jackson or include him in any deals until I see how he perform next season and Newcastle ain’t selling Isack this season after managing their books with their lastest departures. What we need is a left centre back and a left winger and hopefully with progress made at the end of season with the team and with the new manager, hopefully we can get top 4 next season

Yessir. Imagine if we bought another striker to replace Drogba after his 1st season. Jackson is good at everything except for the finishing which will improve with time. Our so called big money strikers have been so shit yet we never learn.

I agree. Marc seems to be very genuine, humble, and appreciative of the opportunity to play in the premier league. From the conversations between him and his grandfather, you can tell that this transfer means a lot to him and his love for the beautiful game extends beyond the financial aspect. Really excited to see what he does for us!

Crespo didn’t flop at Chelsea! Wasn’t at his best at the club for sure but was far from the flop like people claim! I mean 20 goals in 49 premier league appearances not all of which were starts isn’t the worst record in the world.

I think he will start more than people think. He easily starts over disasai and with fofana coming back from major injury, I wouldn't be surprised if he starts the season as our #1 rcb

The one thing everyone misses is Isak has 21 goals but 5 are penalties. Jackson has 14 goals but none are penalties. So if you want to compare apples to apples, Isak 16 and Jackson 14. Not too bad for his 1st year.
I think Jackson is underrated, he had some injuries. Adapting to the prem, i think him and Nkunku and Palmer do some damage 🔥💙

Jackson is the one ....the way he learnt to stay onside was just brilliant where morata spent whole time off side never ..got it ....he also looked better at the end with the one on ones with goalkeeper...he adaps quick ..i think he will get better and better ....

how many big signings we did and how many of them have succeeded ? lukaku, torres were in more prime than isak when we bought them but what have they done... our problem is defence more than goals..we could have won with some 1-0 and draws if we had a stable defence....jackson had justified more than his price tag ... he helped a lot in build up play..played on wings ..scored 14 goals which is good

One of my good friends is a huge Barca fan and he’s pissed about us getting guiu. Apparently he is clinical and that’s the opposite of Jackson. Very excited to see what he can do. KDH is also class player he’ll be a major upgrade to Gallagher in that position esp in a possession based team.

Every time he plays he scores and does something so I’m not worried about his “quality” but more his injuries he has scored against Liverpool with a class goal so he proved it against a big team too

Guiu is a good striker. He had to compete with Robert Levondowski in Barca. I think he can play as the striker in Chelsea and Jackson could play as a winger.
I think Isak makes any team better, but for some reason I kinda think he will suit Arsenal and I’m surprised they’re not going for him.

Would it be a good thing to sign Isak though? Seeing that we have Jackson already, Dantro Fofana coming back from loan and we just signed Marc Guiu? To sign Isak now would push Jackson to the LW where we would have players such as Mudryk, Sterling and possibly Dewsbury-Hall.
As a LFC fan, in my opinion I would still sign ISAK even though his injury prone. Reason being is, he will be by main man and still play at least 30 league games and get roughly 20 goals - Thats brilliant!
Then that means Jota and Nunez will still need to step up. Just dont play ISAK for a full 90 give him at least 60 to 75 mins.
They were playing Datro as a winger in berlin. It wasn't a proper loan. Datro and Guiu should be back-ups. Jackson is a winger for fucks sake.
Datro almost scored a puskas in his debut. He never got a proper chance to start. Everyone was shit under Potter.

The fact that Chelsea were even in for Isak show the ludicrous nature of FFP. The amount of money Chelsea have spent since new owner walked through the door is ridiculous yet Newcastle need to sell two promising players or we’d fall short of the rules and points deductions etc despite being debt free and having the richest club in the world. It stinks of corruption within the PL keeping there favourite top 6 happy whilst making it virtually impossible for team’s outside of that to compete, rant over!

Also want to add I don’t get why we would spend 40 mil on Duran when we’re not even sure he would start. Considering the options we already have up top do we really need to spend 40 mil on a striker right now? The way the owners recklessly spent money has left us in a position where we actually can’t just spend money as freely …and people know this hence why you say we can’t afford olise etc…why are we in such a rush to spend all this money? Next year we’re gonna need to make signings. Let’s chill out for now
