You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.
In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for visitors (www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor- rules), I have considered:
your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it
your immigration history
The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 - V4.6 of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules because:You have applied for a visa to visit your family in the UK for 17 days. I understand the importance of family visits, however in order to assess your intentions I must consider your circumstances in your country of residence based on the information you have provided with your application.
The onus is on you to qualify for entry clearance based on your own circumstances and your own intentions. You have said that your sponsor will help you with this visit by providing you with accommodation and funds whilst you are in the United Kingdom and I am satisfied that they are in a position to do so based on documents provided. While I take that into account in assessing your proposed maintenance and accommodation in the UK, this is only one aspect of the visitor rules and this sponsorship does not satisfy me of your own intention to leave the UK on completion of your visit.
You have stated that you are unemployed and derive an annual income of £2,500.00 per year. You have also declared you spend £1,000.00 per month on expenses. It is not clear how you meet these expenses and your day-to-day living as these far exceed your annual income. Furthermore, the documents do not show the income or finances of any close family members in your country of residence who may be supporting you financially. Given the above discrepancies, I am not satisfied your income is as stated which undermines the credibility of your application. This leads me to doubt your intentions in visiting the UK.
You have stated that you are set to travel to the UK with your twin daughters to visit their father and that you own your own home in Egypt. The documents provided do not demonstrate any family members, if any, remaining upon your departure I note that your daughters have the right to reside in the UK. Furthermore, you have not shown to hold any funds, assets or property of your own. Given this, I am not satisfied you have shown that your ties to Egypt (or elsewhere) provide sufficient incentive for you to leave the UK at the end of your proposed visit. On the balance of probabilities, I am therefore not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor or that you intend to leave the UK after a limited period.
I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor and that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules.

1. Not convinced on how I’m able to financially support myself and are not convinced I’m a genuine visitor.

Hi, my sister applied for a visitor visa I send her an invitation letter she will be staying with me so I included my tenacy agreement, and a letter from my landlord just confirming that she can indeed stay with me during her visit,
She is employed in her home country she included a letter from her employer stating that she does work there, she will be starting a university cause in 6 months time she send letter confirming an accepted letter for a course.
She has also included her resident permit and her parents resident permit to show her parents do indeed live at her home county and as ties to her county she has included her car insurance as ties also, she has included 6months bank statement and she put in a saving one month before but she explained in covering letter where that money came from an that it was saved over time…..I also included my British passport as a resident in the UK
And what’s app message to prove relationship and the fact that we have same surname…..is this all enough to have approved application??
If you are inviting her, you have to prove the finance, because she is coming to the uk because of you. You can add pics for the proof of ties

Yes the person can sponsor you but has to transfer the money you need into your bank account.

According to their Visa Guide ,Flight booking, Hotel reservation etc should not be used as evidence. Can you explain that?
Yes that’s why I said it’s optional, it’s not compulsory. This is because you may loose your money if you book your accommodation and flight visa decision. That’s if you are refused the visa, some hotels and airline companies will not refund your money to you.
But you should have your money for flight, accommodation and other expenses in your bank account

2. Do you need to take the Original Docx at the appointment even after self uploading Online?
1, just a you book a hotel accommodation, you book a flight and use your receipt as evidence of booking.
2. There is an option for self service where you upload the documents your self or you personally submit them for uploading. But if you have to do your biometrics then you definitely have to go to the embassy

I will advise you to do UKVI academic. You can use it for both nmc registration and your visa application if you are a nurse

Hi, please quick question..I am a British citizen here in the UK and I have just applied for a visitor visa application for my boyfriend in Nigeria.. I am not working because I've got a disabled son I am taking care of ...my son get disability allowance and I get carers allowance..universal credit..I also get child Maintenance support and child benefits...should I be worry if I will meet the financial requirements.
1. Source of finance, the ukvi will want to make sure that you have enough finance to take care of yourself boyfriend when he visits UK. If you have enough savings in your bank account for at least 28 days then no problem
2. Accommodation, you have to prove that you have a place for your boyfriend to stay, does your rent agreement allows another person to stay in your flat apart from you and your son?
3. Ukvi May be extra careful because you are with a vulnerable child
It’s possible to bring him to the uk if you all the supporting documents
Well I think I should be exempt from strict financial requirements since I'm receiving carers allowance that was my research ..I'm getting 1300 monthly for universal credit ...460 for my son disability benefit...600 for carers allowance ..64 pounds for child Maintenance...and 156 for child benefits..on top of this I've got council tax support..adequate 3 bedroom house which I'm the only adult living in the property...I got a tenacy agreement and landlord also write a letter ..this are my situation 🙂 I've sent in proof and letters of all this benefits

Hi, thanks for checking up... he was refused the visitor visa due to us not meeting the financial requirements.. but we immediately applied for a uk fiancee visa, and that was successful because I was claiming carer allowance, so I was exempt. from meeting the financial requirements . We then later applied for his spouce visa after our wedding, which it was successful.

1. It’s not compulsory to book a flight before submitting your visa application. Some people do it but not compulsory. In your travel itinerary, when detailing the cost of your trip, you can add the cost of the flight and make sure you have the amount in your bank account.
2. You pay your visa fee online with a debit or credit card. You payment will automatically go to the UKVI.

The visa decision is usually done between 2 to 4 weeks. If it's two months, I will advise you contact the uk visa office in your home country
I would like to know. I have a sponsor but the last part of the visa application requires some mandatory documents although I have a sponsor it's still request that I provide evidence of funds and by which that funds is accessible by me.
You did not mention that in the sponsor section but I got to know that's how it is so how then do I go about it. And if my sponsor wants to send me money to cover for my expenses during the travel will that money be suspected and raise any red flags ?

If you have a sponsor then you don’t need to provide much documents from your side. Just prepare a travel itinerary to show you are coming to visit places in the uk with you family member here.
Your chart on social media, phone calls evidence and if the person has posted gifts to you, money transfer can all all be used to prove that you know the person.

It will depend on your proof of ties. In this instance, if you don't really proof that you know him, They may decline the visa

Go unto the vfs or tls ( the service you used) and contact them from there. I made a mistake of not submitting some of my particulars. I contacted them and they made me submit it the next day.

Yes you can use your bank statements. There is no specific amount of money to have in your account. Just calculated how much you will be spending on them and keep it in your bank account

Your sponsor probably get pension. And may have some money in the bank. He or she must provide evidence of this to prove that you will be taken care of when you are in the uk

You would have to physically submit your passport. If you have previous travel history on your old passport then you can add it to the new one and submit it
@@natureandlifestyle100 I need guidance , I am gonna sponsor my mum to visit me in uk .. in 2016 she got her first passport and it had different errors .. passport authority didn’t mention that she is govt employee.. after realising she renewed her passport.. then after that she got her first English national identification card (before it was in Urdu language) .. and spelling of name on NIC and passport were not matching .. she again asked for modification and they corrected one error and left one error .. now she has three passports ( she asked them to cancel these ) with error and now got corrected passport with no error .. so my question is do we need to attach copies all passports front pages and explain them why she had 4 passports in period of 6 years ?

It’s safe he provides a personal bank account statement. If simple, he should transfer some money into his personal bank account, the money should be in his account for about 28 days prior to the the visa application

The process is the same, the only change will be your document for proof of finance.
1. Your Dad have to give u a letter authorising you to use his account
2. Dad’s account should be his personal account and not a business account
3. Calculate the money needed for your trip ( accommodation, transportation personal up keep money), it should be in Dad’s account for at least 28 days prior to your visa application
4. Proof that he is indeed your dad or legal guidance ( use your birth certificate)
Will that letter of authorisation be given to my dad through his bankers or a letter from him personally to me

I done biometric on 23rd January, we were 2 families submitted together, 1 family got visa in 10 days, I spoke to UKVI they said your decision has been made, it's been 15 days yet no update in our 4 family members by VFS, I dint get any email yet by UKVI

Please we have applied but the accomodation my mum and my cousin sent theirs first ,they kept the old reservation document in their application and that one we used a pen to write my cousins name
But we had the correct one but mistakenly kept in the old one but had the same date to leave the uk but we just added one person using a pen
So i added the correct one to my own and added a cover letter stating the problem i dont know if it'll be verified

You don't need a cover letter, you only need an invitation letter if you have a sponsor in the uk

Yes you can sponsor your self for the visitors visa. Just follow the guidelines.

After you online visa application, you submit your visa documents which includes the travelling passport. Some of the documents will be scanned and handed back to you but your travelling passport will be collected. You will get it back when your visa decision is made and you are going for your visa

1. Proof that he is eligible to stay in the uk that’s a copy of his passport and Biometric residence permit
2. Proof of finance and employment status that’s copies of some payslips, bank statements
3. Proof of accommodation that’s he should show that he has a place for you to stay when you come to the uk. He can use his rent agreement letter and he should add a prove of address
4. Both of you should prove he really knows you
Also your uncle should write an invitation letter for you to submit it

Thank you. I got the job which everything was settled. But what disqualify me. They told me to get the accommodation out. Or an hotel. Or anyone who will accommodate me for one month. So it wasn't easy for me to find. So is like the chance will go just like that.
